Brandon
I don't know if this makes sense, but I'll try to explain...
I like the sound, look, and feel of the name Brandon, but I don't like the name itself, and I don't know what I dislike about it.
So, suggestions of what I might like? Either gender; invented, creative and word names are ok.

The meaning doesn't grab me and something about it seems like such a trendy preppy name that it just makes me go "yuck", so I'm not really sure how it would become likeable for you.Jadon (spelled this way)

It's my name, and I like it. The only time I don't is when people elongate the nasal r sound creating a "burrrr" syllable. I am sensitive to r's.That said, if you're not happy with the name, don't use it. Plenty of others! :)
