Sophronia?
Sorry to post twice in a row. *blush*What do you think of Sophronia? I think it's said sof-ROWN-yah, but correct me if I'm wrong, please! I think it's a nice alternative to Sophia / Sophie. I like Sophie or Sophia as nicknames, or maybe Sonia or Sonya. Middle names? Thanks a lot in advance :)

I love it! It's beautiful, sophistocated, and elegantly unique.

It's different but has a pretty sound and a good meaning. It looks nice.I'd probably never be brave enough to use it as a first name but a mn? Definitely. It's very pretty.

Love it! ...It's a beautiful name, and I adore it. I always thought that Sophie would make a cute nickname for it as well : )At the moment no middle names are coming to mind, but preferably something that isn't too long, considering the length of Sophronia.

ThanksYes, a short middle name is best, I think.

I love it, and I pronunce it soh-FROH-nee-ah, with the "frow" sounding like "throw." Sophronia's a bit scary-sounding and old-fashioned, but in a really good way--Sophronia could be the lead singer in a goth band just as easily as she could wear high collars and argue against women's suffrage. :DI think that if I had a Sophronia, she'd get called Fifi sometimes, and Sofa / Sopha sometimes. Frona isn't a bad nickname, or maybe Fronie. I think she'd become a Frowny when she was being moody. ;) Array

It reminds me a lot of Sophonia (not sure how it's spelt), a spoilt 18 year old Mormon on Holiday Showdown. So due to that, sorry, nmsaa. Sophronia Katia would be nice, but I'm not good with middle names.
