Josephine
What do you think of Josephine? I became really taken with it when someone suggested it as a mn in my last post. I love Josie as a nickname. For a baby, born into a wealthy family (fiction) what 2 middle names would you put with Josephine?thanks,Katie

I love it, especially as a middle name. I prefer Jo or Posy as a nn, though.I'd go with something really classic, like Josephine Mary Elizabeth, or Josephine Amelia Jane, Josephine Mary Catherine, Josephine Mary Alice. I like Mary with it a lot.

I love Josephine. When I was a kid, I would have thought it ugly, frumpy, old. But now I find it lovely and underused and I love it even more that for me its an honoring name. For some reason, I like A names with Josephine. However, I don't think Josephine lends well to 3 name combos. The first that came to mind that sounded at least somewhat okay is as follows, and I don't like it that much. Amelia Mae Josephine

Josephine Adrasteia Louise was my first thought. I also thought of Josephine Octavia Ruth, Josephine Alice Beata, and Josephine Calliope Rose.

I like Josephine, and Josie as well. I also like Fi as a nickname, and I kind of like Posy.I'd call her Josephine Katherine Grace.

I don't mind Josephine, but I personally prefer it as a mn. As for a combo, what about Josephine Elizabeth Rosemary?

This was my great-grandma's name! She used to be Johannah but changed it when she immigrated from Ireland to America. Josie is a cute nickname.Hmm…how about Josephine Eleanor Ruth? Or maybe Josephine Sabrina Therese? There are a couple of name combinations you could use.

Ooh I do like Therese at the end. What's your preferred pronunciation?
