Thanks everyone for your help. I love the name and I am going with Kara pronounced with a flat "a". Thanks so much for the middle name ideas. I love Mia, but I think I am going to go with Kara Janelle.
THANKS AGAIN!!!

I'm partial to Kara because I grew up with a girl named that; although I like it either way.Cara looks more like CAIRa to me, as someone mentioned, while Kara is KAHra.How are they different to you? To me I get the impressions:
Kara - assertive, dramatic, mysterious, visionary, leadership, competent, natural beauty, creative, fearless
Cara - gentle, softspoken, friendly & approachable, practical, communicator, helpful, striking beauty, active, astuteMaybe if you do a comparison like this for your own impressions, it could help you choose which one you like better? - chazda

I prefer Cara. The "c" spelling just looks nicer to me. I like Cara Bethany and Cara Phoebe.

Cara Mia(it means "my beloved")

In my experience people who spell it Kara get asked if its pronounced Kah-ra and Cara is more likely to be pronounced Care-uh. So maybe you want to use that as a guideline?

I was about to suggest Cara Mia, but I saw that Matthew already did. I love it. I sounds nice and it has a very fitting meaning.
