Any good vintage-y, ethereal middle names for Fae?
My husband are settled on the name "Fae". I chose this spelling because it is the closest one to the word "faerie" and is quite uncommon. Two middle names for Fae I like are "Lisette" and "Elysia" (pronounced: EL-LEE-SEE-UH). So, can you offer your opinion on those as well? I would prefer for your suggestions to be three syllable middle names and nothing too modern/trendy. Thank you!

I like it! I agree that Fae is the best spelling because it's closest to the word "faerie" (and just the word "fae").
Fae Lisette sounds good but it doesn't stand out. Fae Elysia is better because of the mythological/magical theme.
I like the middle names that are sort of etheral as well as the darker ones like Morrigan and Belladonna. They both fit with different aspects of fae (although the word "fae" itself tends to go better with the light, flowy names).

Fae Nerissa came to mind... like a water fairy!
I like the sound of "Fae Lisette" but I think I like the combination of the meanings of "Fae Elysia" more. I like the combination of the "Fairy" and "Blissful" meanings. Elysia definitely sounds vintage-y and the meaning "blissful" sounds ethereal.
I think you should try going with meanings that are etheral-like to go with the "Fairy" meaning:
Fae Amethyst (literally "Amethyst")
Fae Angelique ("Angel")
Fae Anima ("Soul, Spirit")
Fae Aureole ("Radiant Halo")
Fae Candela ("Candle")
Fae Charisma (literally "Charisma")
Fae Charmian ("Delight")
Fae Claribel ("Clear" + "Bell")
Fae Clarity (literally "Clarity")
Fae Cressida ("Golden")
Fae Dalitso ("Blessing")
Fae Delicia ("Delight, Pleasure")
Fae Desiree ("Desire, Wished")
Fae Despoina ("Lady")
Fae Destiny (literally "Destiny")
Fae Diana ("Heavenly, Divine")

Hi !!!
I love the name Fae too but with the spelling Fay.
This because I prefer the link "Mogan le Fay" to "The Faerie Queene". I rate Fay 9/10.
Lisette is sweet and safe, not strange nor common. It is that kind of name that makes you happy when you hear it because it is uncommon but lovely vintage. I like many -ette names. I would not use it because I have not any tie with it. But as I said it is a very sweet name. I can imagine a little Lisette with ribbons in her fair braidings playing in the snow at Christmas Time. I rate it 7/10.
Elysia: did you choose it referred to the Elysian Fields of the Classic Mythology? It is beautiful *_*
I can suggest you also the variant Elisea (ay-lee-ZE-a) the Italian form.
MNs for Fae...
Fae Morgana / Morrigan
Fae Celeste (che-LE-ste)
Fae Ursula
Fae Esmeralda
Fae Minerva
Fae Tamara
Fae Marianne
Fae Cleopatra / Kleopatra
Fae Roxanne
Fae Belphoebe
Fae Aliénor
Fae Marina
Fae Cassandra / Kassandra
Fae Violet

Fae is a tricky one. Being one syllable, it can sound like the beginning of a word or sentence. For example, Fae Camille sounds like “fake a meal”. I’ve included some L-names, but as pretty as they sound, part of me hears “fail” when they’re said together.
I do like the name. It’s great to see it brought out of the placeholder-middle-name shadows.
Fae Alice
Fae Amethyst
Fae Ariadne
Fae Celeste
Fae Cressida

Fae Verity
Fae Vivian
Fae Ximena

Fae Lisette flows nicely, even though I'm not fond of Lisette by itself.
Fae Elysia doesn't flow very well, bc the MN begins with an E, but I like Elysia by itself.
Ideas with other Ly/Li names since you seem to like the sound:
Fae Lydia
Fae Luned
Fae Lynette
Fae Lysandra (I like this especially)
Fae Liselotte
Fae Ligeia
Fae Linnéa
Fae Rosalyn
Fae Alicia
Fae Delilah
Fae Juliette
Fae Lalita
Fae Nicolina
Fae Selene
