Candace
What do you think of the name Candace? What would you pair it with?I actually quite like it. It reminds me of candy. Sweet, pretty, and light while also being powerful.

I like it, possibly prefer Candice. Candy makes a cute nickname.

It's ok. I do find it dated.

Who's Candace?

Not a fan of Candace at all. It's boring and outdated. And I loath the nickname Candy for it, too.
Another reason I hate the name is because of Candace Cameron. I can not stand her at all.

I don't mind it necessarily but of the names in it's brackets it doesn't necessarily appeal to me as much as some of the others.

I like Candace, but not enough to use, even as a mn. I dislike Candiss, which I've seen as an alternative spelling.I knew a Candace who was never called anything else, so it can be done. I also knew a Candy - full name. I thought that was unfortunate.

Candace looks very unattractive to be. The sound is cloying, and the spelling makes me want to pronounce it kan-DA-keh, which is infinitely worse.Candace Agatha

Candace is very attractive, very grown-up and sophisticated but totally familiar. The drawback is of course the nn Candy, which is so cliched tacky it's just sad. None of the Candices/Candaces I've known, or the one Candisha, were ever called anything but Candy.Candace ElenaCandace JasmineCandace NoelleCandace MargueriteCandace RachelCandace April

I can really only think of Candace Flynn; but I do agree that this name is nice. I think Candace Sawyer, Candace Nadine, and Candace Heather would be nice combinations.A similar name that's one of my favorites is Cadence.

I used to think that this name was ugly. But the more I thought about it, the more I liked it. I misread this name as unisex at some point. At first I couldn't believe it. Candace, on a boy? But now, I'm really liking it for both genders!

It's pretty in my opinion. It reminds me of candle, Candace Flynn from Phineas and Ferb and the part of lyrics "we can dance" of Katy Perry's song Teenage Dream.

I don't like Candace Flynn, but "can dance" is a really nice association!
