My mom's not a boomer and she's a
Patricia (b. 1939), so I think of
Patty as older than a boomer. I've never met a boomer
Patty.
To me, anyway:
the most stereotypical boomer names are
Linda and
Jim (
James).
Gen X is
Amy and
Chris (
Christopher).
After that it gets a bit more vague, since the time periods called "generations" get shorter and shorter, and so do name trends.
But just making something up -
My stereotype Millennials are
Sarah and
Matt (
Matthew).
Gen Z would be
Emma and
Mason (or
Ethan if you like).
Alpha would be
Olivia and
Liam.
I think of
Sean as Gen X, but not as stereotypical because it bleeds into the millennials.
Noah seems steadily very popular for too long to be associated with
Alpha in particular, for me. Amazing that it's still so popular.
I feel like
Jessica straddles X/Y and
Emily straddles Y/Z.
Brian and
Ryan could also represent X and Y to me.
