Elsie's mother works as a 4th-grade teacher at Elsie's school and her father is an archaeologist. They live in a 3-bedroom rancher, with the 3rd room being a guest room(though they don't get many visitors). Elsie likes her room, even though it's quite small. She has a fluffy white pet rabbit named Carrots, even though he actually likes lettuce. She is a very creative person, often making new things, starting new projects, and coming up with new ideas. One of Elsie's favorite activities is writing because she wants to be a writer someday. Even though her family lives on a ranch, they own a black sports car. Elsie's mother thinks that the car is a waste of money, but Elsie's father likes the car. Elsie named it Carie(Car-ee).
