Hey, I thought this was somewhat interesting. Something different.
What were the names of your teachers during elemtary school (or grade school or primary school whatever you call it) kindergarden-6th (or 7 and or 8 depending on how your school worked)
If you can remember of course! Lol. Your favorite teachers? Your most hated teachers? First names are optional

Kindergarten: Mrs. Silverstein, after she left because she was pregnant, Mrs. Cline.
1st Grade: Mrs. Reinhardt but in my mind it was "Ryanheart"
2nd Grade: Mrs. Bradley, I think her first name was Joanne
3rd Grade: Mrs. Stahl, her first name was Lynn, and we have a student teacher, Miss Salz, and after Mrs. Stahl left because she was pregnant, Mr. Barrett.
4th Grade: Mrs. Tanzola
5th Grade: Miss McHugh, her first name was Jeanne
I hated Mrs. Silverstein and Mrs. Bradley was my favorite, she was super nice.

I actually remember a lot of their first names like the true name weirdo I am...
[Before 4th grade, only remember last names: Zurenchek (loved saying that back then), Hopp (another fun one), Flynn, Galley]

7th: Margaret "Peg / Peggy", Bridget, Cindy, Thomas "Tom," Katie
8th: mostly same teachers but homeroom this time was Amy. One day a student asked the difference between Joanne and Joan ("Joanne" was in a reading passage) and she wrote all the possible spellings of Joanne on the board. I was delighted, lol.
High school: Bernadette "Bonnie," Lisa, Marilou, Cheryl...guess my hatred for high school blocked out the rest.

K: Kay Powell
(Always moody and one time, she purposely made me look bad to one of the other teachers for her own amusement. I was FIVE. Also, she sent me to the principal's office once for digging in my nails and breaking the skin of this boy named Phillip who bodily attacked me on the playground.)
& Linda Nelson
(She was older and was always nice and loving to the students. I can't remember her ever raising her voice. She was more the kind to convince you to do something than to yell at you to do it. I remember when Mrs. Powell was teaching, Mrs. Nelson would always sit next to this loud, autistic boy and would quietly remind him to raise his hand.)

(I was in a multiage class and the same teacher taught you for both grades. Best teacher ever and occasionally, I still see her out somewhere and get excited about it and we're Facebook friends.)
3: Janet McClain
(A teacher who had no patience for me whatsoever. I still remember her trying to send me to the principal's office before I explained my side of the story one time and I had a break down in the hallway. I was an honor roll student and I didn't get in trouble a lot. My mom was actually proud of me for refusing to go with her to the office, but she was terribly upset that the teacher made me cry and wouldn't listen to me.)
4. Mrs. Garrison
(Don't remember her first name and she was terribly strict and never smiled and wore hot pink lipstick that she reapplied multiple times a day. This was the first teacher to give me hours of homework.)
5. Jimmie McGaw
(Always bothered me that I thought she had a boy's name. Also she had little patience for me. I have AD so I was difficult, I'm sure. But I got in trouble with her repeatedly and she actively disliked me until that spring when everyone in the class had to write an essay on conservation. I brought in a six-page paper (front and back which is a lot for an 11 year old) and it won this regional competition and she and I got to go have some dinner with the governor and people I didn't care about, but she sure did.)

Kindergarten- Frieda Feurig- I went to the same church as her, and kept in touch because of it. She died last year, in her 90's.
First- Sue Resop
Second- Claudia Sanders
Third and fourth- Kevin Butch- everyone's favorite. He played with us at recess once in a while
Fifth and Sixth- Arliss Gagnow- no one misbehaved because of her. Before our shared principal came from the larger school just to deal with problem students, she dealt with us, and no one did that.

Gwydion
When I was in Sixth Form I started learning teacher's first names, and here were a few surprises:
My English Lit teachers were Welsh and Irish - Gwydion (!) and Fiona.
My (former) English teacher when I was younger was called Gita.
My German teachers were called Dipali "Dee" (Indian), Klara (East German) and Amelie (German).
My French teachers were Rim (Mahgreb), Jacinthe (French Caribbean) and Yael. Yael had a baby while I was in school and named her Ella (after her favourite student ¬__¬ very weird) Hadassah.
I had philosophy teachers named Marni and Sofia Inez.
Errrmmmm... my most-hated sports teacher was a Veronica. My form / maths teacher for a while was a Christopher, and my later form teacher was a Mairi. My physics teacher was a Brennan, my biology teacher was an Isobel.
My art teacher was a Gideon. He has two daughters with really awesome names.
Preeety worried you could find my old school with that info, but I hope not.
I'm not including surnames for an obvious reason.
I have a lot of my old teachers on facebook, and those I don't made a bad enough impression for a good while ...¬__¬

Not wanting to outdo you or anything, but I learned my teachers' names in year 7-onwards, as I spent a lot of time with the counsellors (and I still do), who have this document on the wall with a list of teachers full names. It's sort-of what I'm known for in my year, being able to give a teacher's first name from memory. How did you learn yours?
In terms of names, no one is called anything really unusual except for one teacher from Wales with a really obscure name that I daren't post here. A Biology teacher has the middle intial of W and I have a joke with myself that it stands for Wolfgang even though it probably doesn't.
Also, do you remember you did this 'around the world CAF' thing? You couldn't tell me where you got the names from in that, could you? Pretty please?

I learned to read in 1st grade :P (Not the smartest kid in existence but I was definitely an advanced reader) I was capable of reading, say, the entire potter series when I was around 8 or 9. Possibly 7. But was always too lazy. Not as focused on the task. (well you know how a kid is)
