My daughter is Cordelia from King Lear. Sometimes we call her Cora for short.
I like Ophelia even though she was crazy.

More Shakespearean Names Include:Portia (in a lot of Shakespeare plays)
Ophelia (Hamlet)
Midsummer Night's Dream:
Titania
Helena
Hermia
Hyppolyta - unusable, but included for the sake of inclusiveness
Lysandra (based on Lysander)I think any of these names, except Hyppolyta and Hermia, would go well with Alexander. My favorites are Portia, Ophelia, and Lysandra.

Well, Juliet is the most obvious, and it is also a stunning name. I think it would suit Alexander well, and be great for a kid today. My second choice would be Nerissa, from the Merchant of Venice. Some other choices from Shakespeare:
Alexander and Cassandra ( Troilus & Cressida )
Alexander and Valeria ( Coriolanus )
Alexander and Adriana ( Comedy of Errors )
Alexander and Celia ( As You Like It )
Alexander and Paulina ( Winter's Tale )
Alexander and Viola ( Twelfth Night )
Alexander and Tamora ( Titua Andronicus )
Alexander and Rosaline ( Romeo & Juliet )
Alexander and Katharina ( Taming of the Shrew )
Alexander and Mariana ( All's Well that Ends Well, Measure for Measure )
Alexander and Lavinia ( Titua Andronicus )
Alexander and Rosalind ( As You Like It )
Alexander and Bianca ( Taming of the Shrew, Othello )
Alexander and Cordelia ( King Lear )
Alexander and Helena ( Midsummer Night's Dream, All's Well that Ends Well )
Alexander and Miranda ( The Tempest )
Alexander and Cressida ( Troilus & Cressida )
Alexander and Patience ( Henry VIII )
