Year 1: We celebrated Aviva's birthday!
Year 2: Aviva decided that politics wasn't the career for her, so she went back to school and became a doctor.
Year 3: Our son William was born!
Year 4: We decided to adopt a child, but fell in love with twins! Asha and Mira were 3 when we brought them home from Somalia.
Year 5: A close friend asked us to be godparents to her son, Nicholas Henry.
Year 6: We flew to Spain to meet up with family from both Michael's and Aviva's side!
Year 7: Our neighbors had a baby! We threw a party to welcome Sophia Charlotte.
Year 8: Michael fulfilled his lifelong dream to earn his scuba certificate.
Year 9: Aviva's cousin asked us to be her son Gabriel Noah's godparents.
Year 10: Our daughters Caroline and Grace were born!
Year 11: We moved to Vermont.
Year 12: Much to William's delight, our sons Benjamin and Nathaniel were born.
Year 13: Michael decided to go back to school to become a teacher.
Year 14: Our son James was born.
Year 15: Sadly, Aviva's grandmother passed away.
Year 16: We adopted our daughter Anna from China. She was 7 months old when we brought her home.
Year 17: A friend had a baby! All the kids helped welcome Marina Gabrielle to the world.
Year 18: Unfortunately, Michael's grandfather passed away.
Year 19: We moved back to Ontario.
Year 20: Benjamin broke his arm climbing a tree, but luckily it was a minor fracture and healed quickly.
