What do you think of the name Lysander? Is it usable? Any middle name suggestions?

I love it. I'm a sucker for -ander names. I like the Ancient Greek roots and the fact that Shakespeare used it in my favourite play of his (A Midsummer Night's Dream). I think it's usable. Lysander was a nice character in the play (I seem to recall? Correct me if I'm wrong, I read it almost 2 years ago), and if necessary you can always call him Sander or something like that. Lysander James
Lysander Apollo
Lysander Theodore
Lysander Florian
Lysander Henry
Lysander Hugo
Lysander Marcus

I love the name Lysander! I think it's usable I hope it makes a come back!I'm rubbish at boy's middle names but I like the sound of Lysander James. Or Lysander Leo.

It's the type of boys' name I like, for instance, I love Evander, but Lysander unfortunately just sounds like an all-purpose cleaner to me.

I love it, but I don't think it's at all usable. However, some of my favourites combos are:Lysander Sebastian
Lysander Jon
Lysander Caius

I absolutely love, love, love Lysander! I think it's strong, handsome, got a great meaning, and completely usable. Plus I love the Shakespeare connection, and the fact it's a character name from a book series my mum read to me when I was younger, so awesome associations too. It's unusual, but not super out there or weird. I have Lysander Alaric Wolf on my list, and I just really like the sound of Lysander Wolf. It flows well and matches the slightly wild, but calm and sensible image I get from Lysander. I also like:
Lysander Orion
Lysander Kai
Lysander Emrys
Lysander Frederick
Lysander Sage (which was the full name of the book character I mentioned)
