Ah, the X factor - and now for some linguistic sudoku - and my left pinky is *killin me*
Putting aside Francis Xavier, and also putting aside the usual suspects to be matched with any old name (Henry, Oliver, Edward, James, etcetera), let's focus on the X factor, shall we?
Let's get Alexander and Xander out up front (though I would not use Xander in combination with Xavier). After those...
Any of these X names strike you as appealingly blendable with Xavier, whether as fn or mn?
Axel Xavier / Xavier Axel
(pron. Xavier as eks-AY-vier rather than ZAY-vier gives better rhythm when it follows Axel, but not necessarily when it leads)
Baxter Xavier / Xavier Baxter
Braxton Xavier / Xavier Braxton
Dax Xavier / Xavier Dax
Jaxon Xavier / Xavier Jaxon
Maximus Xavier / Xavier Maximus

I adore Ezekiel Xavier right off as Ezekiel nn Zeke is one of my favourite names! I never thought of putting them together!
Xavier Octavius is so handsome, but I think it is possibly a bit too full on for my taste
Xavier Cruz is gorgeous! I agree that Javier makes more sense but I much prefer Xavier.
David Xavier is very nice and David is my dad's mn so it could be honouring him
Xavier Maddox I LOVE LOVE LOVE! and I agree with you that Xavier Joaquim is incredibly sexy!

I love the name. I must say Lumiereslove put together a lot of great combos, only think I can add would be Xavier Alexander which I think looks cool.
