Wren
I know that it is a type of bird, but today I kept thinking about the name, and I think it would be a lovely name on a little girl... very quirky and pretty...so...What do you think of the name Wren? What would be good middle names for Wren? And what would be good first names if Wren was used as a middle name?

I love Wren, or Ren!It's probably just all the anime I watch but I really like this name. I just would never use it though, cause I care even more for longer names.

I am pretty indifferent about the name, as I am about most bird names. But I wouldn't use it as a first name. But as a middle name, well, it could be paired with just about anything.
(As long as it doesn't end in -en or -an. e.g.: Vivian Wren.)

Wren is a family surname for me, so I'm very biased. But I do think it would make a terrific name for a girl; off-beat, yet entirely respectable. My favorite combination is Wren Victoria. I saw a Victorian drawing of a wren once, very Christmas-y with snow and red berries in it. It stuck in my mind, so Wren Victoria feels very natural for me as a combination. Other ideas:Wren Olivia
Wren Emilia / Amelia
Wren Aurelia
Wren Isidora
Wren Seraphine
Wren Audrey
Wren Eileen
Keep in mind that Wren could also be a nn for Renata, Katherine / Catherine / Karen, or anything you can think of. :-)

Wren Aurelia and Wren Emilia are great.

I like Wren especially as a middle name. Unfortunately, some part of the name makes me think of that really weird show "Ren and Stimpy".

I think it's cute and quirky. Like most one-syllable names, I think it fits best with a mn with three or more syllables, like Wren Josephine, Wren Octavia, Wren Isabelle, Wren Lucinda, or Wren Juliet. Using it as a mn, some combos I like Lola Wren, Olga Wren, Isabella Wren, Mary Wren, Julia Wren, Louisa Wren, Amelia Wren, and Tzipporah Wren.

I think it's absolutely beautiful. I'm acquainted with a Willa Wren, which has struck me as one of the best names I've ever heard.I can't offer you any suggestions now, but I do want to encourage you in Wren's direction, so consider yourself encouraged. :)Array
