Trinity
WDYTO Trinity for a girl? I'm unsure whether I would use it as it is the name if the church I attend. Any middle name suggestions?

To be blunt, I can't stand Trinity. Trinity fits into 3 separate mini-trends that I consider tacky and strongly dislike: movie/tv names (like from the Matrix or like Maverick from Top Gun, new-age spirituals (like Heaven, Nevaeh, Destiny), and random words as names.

It's nice. I wouldn't use it myself, though, since I'm not sure of the existence of the trinity and its members. How about:Trinity Alexandra
Trinity Cerys
Trinity Charlotte
Trinity Delilah
Trinity Irene
Trinity Lilith
Trinity Magdalene
Trinity Maria
Trinity Rachel
Trinity Ruth
Trinity Salome

I LOVE it ! But to be honest, i got into it after watching the Matrix and i see it more as a name i use when i pretend to be a spy in my head (don't ask - i'm very immature ;) ) than a name for a little girl. It sounds quite harsh for a child IMO

There was a baby at my table last night named Trinity. I sort of appreciate the religious connection with name, but I am not so sure I like the name itself. It has a really trendy feel to it and I don't particularly care for the sound.

I like the sound of it, but it is horrible as a name for a boy or a girl. Plus, my school is called Trinity, so that would be a little wierd for me to name my child that.

I think it is tacky.

It's not my style, but I think a middle name should be something that the child could fall back on if they wanted something slightly more traditional, like Margaret (or something closer to your style if Margaret isn't).

I used to like it for a girl, but now I really dislike it. I also find it a bit more masculine because I grew up with a male Trinity.Combos: (how about something classy and girly to help balance things)
Trinity Elise / Alise
Trinity Evelyn
Trinity Miranda
Trinity Katharine / Katherine
Trinity Lucille
Trinity Sophia / Sofia
Trinity Annette
Trinity Rose
Trinity Caroline

I really like it phonetically for a girl. Personally, I wouldn't use it as I'm not religious and can't get past that aspect of the name but otherwise, it's nice.

I think it's ok, but it reminds me of The Matrix. There are also a quite a few children named Trinity where I live. If you are going for a theme, maybe:
Trinity Angelica
Trinity Evangeline
Trinity SpiritIf you are going for something not so theme-y:
Trinity Josephine
Trinity Margaret
Trinity Elizabeth
Trinity Diane

I think it sounds kind of trashy and insubstantial, honestly.
