I do like Andrea, Hannah, Lila (but not Lilah), and Rose but I agree with you on most of the rest. I especially hate Amber, Alexis, Brianna etc., Brinley, Briley, Brandy, Brittany, Brooklyn, Chloe, Crystal, Chelsea, Harper, Jade, all the K names you've listed, Mia, Madison, Peyton, Riley, Reagan, and Taylor.

Amber: Always liked this name.
Ariana: It's pretty.
Ashley / Ashlyn: Love Ashley, and Ashlyn is okay.
Alyssa: Nice.
Andrea: Very nice, can be any age from six months to sixty.
Avery: McMansion name.
Aubrey: As clunky and plodding as Audrey, but given by people who think it's fresh.
Aria / Ariel: Aria seems overblown. Never liked Ariel.
Alexis: The only Alex girls' name I can honestly say I like. Alexa is too snotty, Alex is too cliche tomboy, and Alexandra is too pompous.
Bella: Dog name.
Brianna / Bree / Brielle: I like Brianna a lot. Bree is not really doing it, and Brielle makes me think of some kind of puffy bread roll.
Brynn / Brinley / Briley, etc. More McMansion names.
Brandy: Dog name now, very dated.
Brittany: Like it. Prefer Brittney.
Brooklyn: Blah. People in Brooklyn don't name their kids this. Brooke is fine.
Chloe: Gross wet nose-blowing.
Crystal: Very pretty.
Chelsea: I just picture this mouthy little girl obsessed with soccer.
Delaney: Weak and whiny McMansion name because the parents are so Irish.
Elise: Does nothing for me.
Heather: Cute.
Hannah: Like I said: runny oatmeal with nonfat nondairy creamer and no sugar in it.
Hailey: Like it, probably prefer Hayley.
Harper: Hideously ugly.
Jade: Tacky.
Kelly / Kelsey / Kayley / Keeley / Kaylen / Kaitlyn / Kayla / Kinsley, etc. I like Kayla a lot, and I think Kaitlyn is at least more interesting that the bland, safe Katherine, but the others are pretty bland. Kelly is also fairly dated.
Kristin: Never liked it. Christina/Kristina is a favorite.
Kimberly: Like Andrea, it's becoming a classic.
Luna: Tiresome hipster/hippie-wannabe name.
Lila: It's better than Lily but not as good as Layla. / Lilah
Mia: A cat demanding to be let out.
Melissa: Very pretty.
Madison: The original McMansion name.
Nicole: Never liked it.
Peyton: Madison's daughter.
Paige: Nice.
Rhiannon: Ugly, and it sounds like diarrhea medicine.
Riley: What is the attraction of this pasty-ass name?
Reagan: Ugly sound, ugly look.
Rose: Very pretty.
Savannah: Stylish and pretty.
Taylor: No, maybe this is the original McMansion name, and unlike Madison there's quite a few boys named Taylor too, another strike against it.

I like:
Luna
Rhiannon
Agree with you on most of the others. Rose is cute, but way too common.

I have to disagree on some. Despite their popularity (which make them less likable to me)... I think that both Amber and Jade are lovely names. My grandmother is named Lila, and I have always liked it. It is becoming quite trendy, so I don't find it usable - but still a pretty little name. I love Bree, Hannah, Melissa, Rose and Rhiannon. Bree mostly from the Narnia series, Hannah because of the meaning and the fact that it is classy and palindromic, Melissa is just cutesy 80s, Rose will never get old (except as a middle) and Rhiannon is a GP.

I'm surprised you don't like Rose! That seems like a Caroline kind of name to me.

I agree with you on...Savannah (a friend recently named his daughter this, and she is VERY cute, which makes me wonder why they chose THIS friggin' name, UGH)
Peyton (I don't hate it, but I don't like it all that much. This is the name of the crazy B from "The Hand That Rocks the Cradle", so it's a crazy B sort of name to me.)
Melissa (it sounds lazy)
Delaney (this is a surname that soccer moms use, thinking it makes them OMG, SO ORIGINAL)
Crystal (my least favorite gem name)
Brooklyn ("We're naming her Brooklyn Marie!" "Have you ever been to Brooklyn, or do you have any special ties to Brooklyn?" "Um, no. We just think it's super cute!" *headdesk*)
Brittany (sounds vapid)
Brinley, Briley, Kinsley, Kylee, etc. (yeah, I buzzed right through these because they are so unmemorable and lame and fluffy. Hate.)
Bella (there are so many of them now, I want to kill this name with fire.)
Alexis (I like Alexa and Alex for a girl, but Alexis sounds like a car)
Avery (I would say I like it for a boy, but it sounds whiny and lame to me on either gender.)
Andrea (never liked it)
Alyssa (it's like a bunch of semi-appealing sounds were just smooshed together)
Ashley/Ashlynn (I don't care for the 'ash' sound in names)
Ariana (sounds like a brat)
Amber (I can tolerate it, but it still sucks)The rest I like, or am not bothered by. I really like Taylor for a girl. Just puttin' that out there.
