Lou + ?
I've always loved Lou, it's my grandmother's name. But I've never really had a first-and-middle combo I love for Lou. It's hard to get the rhythm right with a one-syllable first name. WDYT of these combos? What else would you recommend?Lou Augustine (My great-grandmother, Lou's mother, was Augustine)
Lou Valentine
Lou Irene
Lou Barbara
Lou Rosario

I know a Lou-Mae. Technically her name is Louisa-Mae, but Lou-Mae is what she is called. I always thought it so quirky and fun. Lou Augustine is certainly adorable and spunky and fresh. I quite like it, especially like the honoring connection. Lou Vale, Lou Ivy, Lou Myra, Lou Jane, Lou Anna, Lou Tawny and Lou Sara are all simple and dear, but might not be your style. Lou Evangeline, Lou Madeleine, Lou Genevieve, Lou Antoinette, Lou Mariana and Lou Zenaida might be more your taste.
Lou Rosaria would be cute of your list, as would Lou Valentine.

I like your suggestion - Lou Irene. Otherwise, Lou Ashley, Lou Vinessa, Lou Ella? Lou Cynthia (Lou - Cindy, and with the various possible short name combinations).

I prefer Lou as a nn for Louise or Louella or something like that rather than as a stand alone name. It's not bad, though. It does feel quite androgynous, since it can be a masculine name as well (usually nn for Louis), and I'm pretty sure I've seen it far more on males than on females.Of your combos, I like Lou Augustine & Lou Irene.Other suggestions:Lou Mariella
Lou Helena
Lou Josephine
Lou Antonia / Lou Antoinette
Lou Marigold
Lou Marjorie / Lou Margaret
Lou Moira Hope
Lou Catriona Faye
Lou Rhona Odette
