HelpNAME FIT FOR A QUEEN HELP!!!
I am currently writing a novel that takes place at the english court around the 1600's.
I need a name fit for the character of the Queen (Main Character). I am looking for something CHIC AND ELEGANT.
Could someone give me either a traditional name with a CHIC and cool nickname or just something elegant, vintage and chic?
*You must have noticed I emphazised the word CHIC quite a lot*

Unlikely that any names a queen might use then would come with "chic" nns, whatever that even means.
Anne, Mary, Margaret, Elizabeth, Katherine, Jane, Isabella, Caroline. Nothing earth-shaking or exciting; same as it is now.

If you're not concerned about using the name of an actual 1600s queen, here are some suggestions, with 'chic' nicknames. I tried to choose traditional female names although some of the nicknames are probably not realistic for the era -
Elizabeth - Ellie, Elle, Elsie, Elsa, Ella, Bette, Betsy, Liza, Lizzie, Lizbeth, Beta
Beatrice - Bea, Trixie
Mary - Molly
Margaret - Maggie, Meg, Greta, Margot, Maisie, Mamie, Mae
