More Baby #4 ideas
My husband and I were brainstorming last night and we are liking these ideas right nowElisabeth Ellen Rose- Elisabeth is my mother's name, and oldest's middle name, Ellen and Rose are both great grandma, one of my grandma's and one of hisMarie Margaret- we just like Marie, it sounds very classy and dainty, like a ballerinaRuth Margaret or Alice "Ruthie"- I just like it because it sounds simple and wholesome, and would sound good with Anne, Tim and Eddie, makes me think of a little girl eating an apple in her playroom, but could easily be a grown womanHarriet Jane- someone suggested Harriet to me last time and I thought it sounded cuteJoan Alice or Margaret "Joanie"- I'm embarrassed to admit it but I'm partially into Joan because I was a big Mad Men fan when it was first airing, she was such a strong character, all qualities I would want in my childVictoria Elisabeth "Vicky"- somebody suggested this combination to me and I think it sounds so classy, it gives me a similar feeling as Marie, a graceful ballerina in my mind, possibly because when I did ballot his little girl my teacher was a Vicky.
Cynthia Ellen Rose- I've always kind of liked Cynthia, it's what I was originally going to name my oldest before his mom passed away so we named that one after her, no regrets though she is definitely an Anne/Annie Jane Alice- Jane was the name of my childhood best friend, and my family loves Alice in Wonderland, we seen just about every single one of the movies made
Just a few mix-n-match combinations we were thinking of, what's your favorite ones? If you didn't see my previous post my other babies are Anne Elisabeth
Timothy Michael
Edward Samuel
If it helpsThis baby will either be the 2nd to last baby, or THE last baby, so I want to pick a good one to round it all off, and don't want her thinking that it wasn't one I didn't put a lot into just because she was 4th.

My favorites are Harriet Jane, Ruth Alice, and Jane Alice. I'm not a big fan of Janie, though, and I love Hattie and Ruthie.

Do you like Hattie by itself?

Ruth Alice "Ruthie" gets my vote. Both names are lovely and it fits well with your other kids names.

I wouldn’t reuse Elisabeth personally. I love Ruth nn Ruthie, both on its own and with your others.
Both combos sound nice but Alice is so lovely, so unless Margaret is a family name I’d pick Alice (and it sounds like your family has a connection to that one).Marie is my second favourite option. Harriet nn Hattie is a good fit too.I think Jane and Anne are too similar sounding, personally. I also feel like frilly simpering Cynthia makes Anne look plain and beige in comparison, and Victoria is lovely but a better fit with your boys, making Anne the odd one out.Congrats!

Beige? I only know the color I don't know what it means as an adjective

Boring, non-offensive, everyday, blah

Oh, I hadn't even thought of Hattie yet, thank you

i wouldn't reuse Elisabeth, especially as a first name, when it's already your other daughter's middle name. my favorites of your list are Ruth and Joan. Ruthie and Joanie are adorable and i think they go well with the rest of your kids.

I'd pick Ruth Alice out of those. Or I'd like Ruth Ellen Rose, if that were a possibility (I think it'd be nice if both girls had MNs that honored family). After that, Joan Margaret.

My favourite of your combos is Harriet Jane.
I think some other combos you may like from the names given are Harriet Joan, Rose Cynthia, Alice Jane, and Elisabeth Margaret Rose

Oooh Rose as a fn is a good one! Rose nn Rosie is sweet and fits perfectly.

Ruth Margaret or Jane Alice. I like some of the other names but I think they are too unusual compared to your other names, so will stick out.

I think Victoria would go best with your other children's names. I like Victoria Jane, Victoria Margaret, Victoria Alice or Victoria Ruth best.

Ruth Margaret or Ruth Alice are the best choices imo.

If you really feel this way, ditch Elisabeth-- it's already your daughter's middle name and it looks lazy-- like "Yeah, we couldn't think of anything better so we just reused a name".
Plus, you have all these honoring names, why would you honor the same person twice when you could honor someone you haven't honored before? Victoria Ellen Rose has the same flow as Elisabeth Ellen Rose and can replace both the Elisabeth Ellen Rose and Victoria Elisabeth combos. I think Marie Margaret, Jane Alice/Joan Alice, and Ruth Margaret "fit" best (all of your kids first names are popular as middle names; so are Marie, Jane, Joan, and Ruth) but in terms of style I think they all work (Cynthia stands out that most, all the other names you have are very classic and Cynthia very much had a moment [the 60s], but it still doesn't feel terribly out of place). My favorite combo (just based on what I like) is Harriet Jane-- Harriet's cute and I think it's up-and-coming-- it'll chart in a couple years.
