It's dated now and I've always prefered it on a boy, but I still like it. I do think that because it's a unisex name, it needs a feminine middle name, like:

It's a yawn. I never could warm to it even back when it was more in style. It just sits there waiting for something to happen to make it less generic. It's even duller than Madison.

Each generation seems to have one masculine name (often deriving from a surname) that becomes the in-vogue "sporty" choice for girls. This new generation has Harper. Gen-Z had Madison. And us Millennials had Taylor.

I could see it being resurrected in a couple decades as a masculine name, but as a feminine name it is very dated.

“Tired” is an excellent word for it. Pretty though.

I knew a girl named Taylor, she wasn’t a very nice person to me. Personally, I don’t even like the name Taylor. I dislike it even more on a boy. In my opinion the name needs to be retired. 4/10.

Sorry, I hate it.

It's not bad but it's boring and overused. I think a MN for Taylor needs to be somewhat peppy, maybe trendy, and not too feminine. Short nicknamey names work well.
