Winona
I've been thinking about Winona lately, and I really like it, not to mention Winona Ryder has always been one of my favorite actresses. Wdyt? I love the nn Winnie. Nona is okay, too, but I prefer Winnie. Any other nns?I like Winona Therese, Winona Elizabeth, and Winona Faye. Any other cute combos? Thanks!-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I like Winona with the nickname Nonnie.Of your combo's, Winona Therese and Winona Elizabeth are nice, but Winona Therese is my favorite!

I like Winnie and Nona as nn's, but Winona is just too closely tied to the actress (then there's Wynonna...), imo. Like you wouldn't (or shouldn't) name your kid Cher or Demi--just too associated with a famous person. :-/ But perhaps that's just me: if you love it, you love it. Winona Faye is the combo I like best of these.

I like Winona--both the name and the actress. And someday, I might learn to like the Judd, too, lol. Nicknames: Winna, Winno, Nonie, Wia, Nono, Nani, Winry, Winsy, Win, Woe, Wonnie, WonnaWinona Therese and Winona Faye are both sweet.Array

I don't have anything huge against Wynonna Judd, but the butchering of that name is unforgivable in and of itself, possibly. :-/ And anyway, her real name is Christina. *rolls eyes* LOL

I love the name Winona. I originally wanted to name a daughter Winifred just so I could call her Winnie, but I recently decided to save Winifred as a mn for Ivah and to use Winona nn Winnie. Nona is a good nn too, though. My favorite combo is Winona Lorraine. =) I also like:Winona Marceline
Winona June
Winona Louise
Winona Quinn
Winona Irene
Winona Rosalind

Winona Faye is cute. Personally I've never cared for it much. It falls into my "Names I Should Like, But Don't" list. Nevertheless, I would smile if I saw in it a birth announcement list tucked in between Ava Grace and Olivia Rose. :-)Other ideas:
Winona Harper
Winona Louise
Winona Claire
Winona Alice
