[Opinions] Dido
What does everyone think of Dido? I've been smitten with the name ever since I read The Aeneid (first in English, then in Latin) -- I love its ancient pedigree and queenly might. Do you think it could be usable? Also, feel free to comment on the combinations that I assembled below.Dido Abigail

I don't think its usable. I can't get past two things, its similarity to dodo and the singer. I did hear it in the new movie Belle and everytime I heard it I thought about how ridiculous it sounded, sort of clown like.

Honestly, whenever I see Dido I read "dildo". So, no, I don't think it's usable.

Me too. :-/ Ditto that for Bilbo. It takes a lot of fun out of The Hobbit.

While I like the Aeneid connection, I hate the sound of it. All I hear it "Died."

I don't think it is that usable. It makes me think of the singer.

There's a singer named Dido. I really like her music. It might be a bit too out there. Even Dido thinks her name's kind of weird.
