Mark. vs. MarcusThank you for your comments!As for Mark vs. Marcus... usually, I prefer the longer version of names as a "legal" name rather than putting what is traditionally a nickname on the birth certificate (e.g. naming a daughter Katharyn and calling her Kate, versus just naming her Kate). However, concerning Marcus (as well as Lucas), I just can't get into it. It's the -cus (-cas) ending, it rubs me the wrong way. That's why I prefer Mark & Luke to those longer versions.
