Pan- European name suggestions please
So...these would be names for me. Long story short: my father moved me, before I could graduate high school in America, to his home country in Hungary. I was taught some of the language very late, in my teens, and very unsuccessfully. I have enormous difficulty speaking the language- even when I speak it well, my natural stutter (that I have even in English) make others believe I don't know it at all.
I get a lot of annoying questions on how dare I have a Hungarian name (an EXTREMELY Hungarian name) and yet not know the language. Most people think I don't care to learn it, not that it's uniquely hard for me because of a private learning disability. I have to somehow master it anyway so I can start college already, since taking classes in English would be too expensive.
Anywayyyy...I wanna change my name. This is one reason, but there are many others don't worry. Sucks actually that I love a lot of Hungarian names, but they don't suit me and I don't feel connected to this culture.
I'm looking for names used in many European countries, ex Anna, Johanna. Also maybe ones that don't sound so feminine? That'd be hard though. I also wouldn't mind exclusively Romanian names, because I'm half Romanian, though maybe that's not a good idea because 1. my father would disown me lmao 2. it may be wrong to use it if I'm not so tied to the culture 3. I'd open myself up to discrimination here.
thanks for reading this lol.

I'm sorry about what you're experiencing! It sounds very difficult and stressful. I hope you find names that you enjoy and feel comfortable using!
I looked up popular names in Hungary that I like and that are also popular in the rest of Europe:
Nora
Emma
Lena
Flora
Natalia
Emilia
Eliza
Mia
Ramona
Laura
Renata
Sophie
Regina
Vera
Bianca
Julia
Eva
These weren't on Hungary's popular list but I find them to be transitional:
Clara
Helena / Elena
Brigitte / Brigitta
Cecilia
Gabriella
Katarina
Marianna
Sophia / Sofia
It's hard for me to find names that are less feminine because the names that are more popular across most European countries are ones that are traditionally very female (Maria, Anna, Sara, etc.)

Is there another version of your name that you could use? Or maybe you could go through some of the popularity charts in Europe to find a name that you like?
