Their mother recently died of cancer and their father died when they were six and five in a freak accident while deep sea diving. Kaden is extraordinarily hyper and outgoing. He loves watching football, playing basketball, wrestling his brother and singing in the choir as well as in a band with his friends. Kaleb is more introverted than his brother but still not entirely shy. He prefers playing video games, especially halo and guitar hero, he also likes reading, swimming, and taking photographs of everything he sees.

All the children are adjusting well. It was a little harder for Adeline and Adrien since they're older, but they're doing very good. Adeline and Adrien have become great friends with my 5-year old son, Henry. At times, Adeline feels left out. My eight-year old daughter, Grace, is having a hard time adjusting to having 3 more siblings. She used to play with Henry all the time and now she feels like Adeline and Adrien have taken over. She's getting better with it, though. Adeline looks up to Grace, which makes Grace very proud. They enjoy playing together. Little Anatasie, who we call Anna, is adjusting the best of all the kids. She enjoys all the attention. She is a big handful, yet adorable. Adrien is best friends with Henry now, but at first he was very shy. He's getting more and more comfortable each day. We signed Adeline up for dance on Mondays and gymnastics one Thursdays. She got Grace into gymnastics as well and now both girls go and love it. Henry was already on a soccer team, so we signed Adrien up to be on his team. He is very happy to have someone he knows on the team. I try to practice my French by speaking it to the kids, but they all laugh at me. I guess I'm not as good as I thought I was =). All the children are doing great on their English, especially Adeline. She is doing so well, she decide to try to teach Grace French. Grace loves learning a new language.

James and Areena were both so happy to welcome their three new children into their home! It has been almost a year already and the children have adjusted wonderfully. Alejandro really enjoys the playroom in the family's home and gets along really great with little Edmund. Antonio spends most of his time running around with Gabriel riding bikes and swimming. Sabrina and Starla were instant best friends and sisters as soon as they met. They love spending time in the home's art studio painting and making crafts or playing with the large doll house that James made for them!

Update: 1 Year Post-Adoption

Four-year-old Mackenzie is rather shy, but can be quite crazy when you get to know him. He enjoys looking after his brother and playing with his cars in the dirt. Baby Aiden is just starting to crawl and gets into whatever he can get his hands on.

Congratulations
Cloe Anabella, Catalina Araceli, and Cruz Alejandro are five year old triplets from Spain. Their mother was a teenager who wasn't allowed to keep them for personal reasons. They would have been adopted sooner but they didn't want them to be separated and most people didn't want three young kids in the house. Cloe is the most outgoing of the three and is known for walking up to the other kids in the park and forcing them to play with her whether she knows them or not. Catalina or "Cat" is also quite a bubbly young child but not quite as much as her sister. Cruz however is quite shy and reserved, most of his friends are made by his sisters forcing him to play with others. Cloe's favorite thing to do is make up games to play with others, Catalina loves playing "grown up" and pretending to be an adult with kids and whatever random profession she chooses that day, Cruz likes to color and do stuff himself but he also loves playing whatever his sisters ask of him.
Daiki Hayate is a lovable little seven year old from Japan. His parents gave him up when he was two so he could hopefully have a better life than they could offer him. He recently got his Huskie, Yoshi, and has been inseparable from him ever since. He is quite shy and has problems connecting with others which has hindered his chances of being adopted in the past. He has recently shown signs of coming out of his shell a little bit and interacting with other children. Daiki enjoys reading and learning, especially about animals, which is one of the reasons he got Yoshi.

Juliet become a role model for Lily and Clara. They are still in awe of her. Juliet or Juli, as she likes to be called, is currently taking online classes and art classes at local college. Juli gave birth to a baby boy, whom she named Tristan Paul after her parents, Tristan and Paula. She still doesn't like flying, but is currently seeing a therapist to help work through this fear.
Ankita and Anjali are very happy babies. Their first words were in Hindu, however, they soon began speaking in English, as no one in the family speaks Hindu. Lily and Clara love having baby sisters to play with, and are delighted that they are twins, like them. Lily seems particularly attached to Ankita, while Clara likes Anjali better.

One year later.
Sean and Alannah and Anastasiya are all adjusting very well. Sean graduated highschool and won a scholarship in a writing contest. He starts college this fall. Logan has taken to Sean and loves spending time with him. He even started helping him with Alannah and now he helps out with Anastasiya, Henry, and Piper too. Alannah will be going to preschool this year and Henry, Piper, and Anastasiya will just be starting. Alannah is very excited that they will be going with her. The other kids didn't believe her last year when she said two of her aunts and one of her uncles were starting preschool a year after her. Anastasiya is also loving Lola and Dusty. The kids are all getting along quite well. Thank you for our beautiful children and granddaughter. We are thrilled to have them.

Nataliya Ninel and Ania Kseniya are sisters from Russia. Shortly after baby Nataliya was born, the girls' parents were killed in a car accident that, luckily, the girls were not in. Nataliya is still to young to have developed much of a personality but she is a very lively baby. Ania, age four years, has been slightly depressed since her parents were killed but she is usually a very happy and outgoing girl. She's very girly and enjoys dress-up and playing with her dolls. Ania is fluent in Russian and has been talking since a young age, however, she knows a little English.
Adam Iskandar is a seven year old boy from Saudi Arabia. He was removed from the custody of his single mother because of abuse and neglect at the age of 4 and has been in and out of foster homes since then. He has trust issues with almost everyone which has made it difficult to place him in a permanent home. He struggles in school because of his dyslexia and sometimes requires one-on-one help with his work. Despite his struggles with schoolwork, he is a bright boy and loves to build with anything he can find.

Michael Kayode is a five year old boy from Africa, he came to our orphanage when his parents could no longer afford to properly care for him at the age of 3. He loves drawing and painting most and loves to look others art and critique it. He can be a bit shy and needs help with his English but he loves people and gets along well with everyone.
Tristan Alexzander and Trinity Elise are twelve year old twins from Britain. They're the best of friends and have stayed close since their parents recently died. They have trouble trusting adults but easily befriends those around their age and younger. They both love music and write songs together all the time, Tristan will sing the lyrics while Trinity plays them easily on almost any instrument.
Oliver Cameron is a seventeen year old boy from Britain. He's been in foster care since he was six and spends most of his time outside on his own. He loves most athletic stuff but especially hip hop dancing, which he's quite good at. He also street performs simply for the fun of it and does his best to make others happy.

Update
Michael is adjusting well in our home. Though he has trouble with his English, he seems to love playing with my son Patrick. We are having a teacher come once a week to help him learn better English. I'm sure he will soon be speaking it fluently.
Tristan and Trinity were slow to open up, but have become good friends with my daughter Baylee, which has helped them come out of their shell. They both enjoy the extra school activities. Tristan has joined the school choir and Trinity the school orchestra.
Oliver, not having any other kids his age in the family, has opened more up to my husband. He enjoys playing football in the yard with him and is now on the school football team. We have found out he is a very bright boy and is a joy to be around.
