I've come across two little ones named
Mary over the last few years and I was tickled pink both times. I asked both parents if they were named after grandma's and both times the parents said some variation of they just liked it, which is pretty interesting!
Other names I would like to see more of for the littles:
Doris,
Bernice,
Florence,
Nellie,
Alice,
Laura instead of
Lauren,
Edith,
Helena,
Dorothy,
Louise and
Louisa,
Hattie,
Mattie,
Mae,
Faye,
Flora,
Lottie,
Marguerite,
Maude,
Esther,
Heidi,
Marian,
Leona,

Titus,
Rusticus,
Quintus instead of
Quentin or quincy,
Maximus,
Lucius,
Julius.
Honestly, if they just started bringing back a lot of the ancient
Roman names I'd be
a pretty happy camper. It's fun to imagine my future children's best friends being
Aurelius and
Calpurnia as opposed to
Jaxon and Teegan...
* I know some of these are already in use again but I'm just talking about names that I personally haven't come in contact with too often yet, if at all, on the kids
Please rate my "Names I would Use" list & "Backup Favorites" list. Feel free to rate some of my other lists too if you have the time.
