It's nice, but not as wonderful as so many people seem to think. I'd prefer Charlie, as a nn, if nns are really required. Lottie I can imagine only on a very small child.Jacqueline and Vivian make the best mns.

I love Charlotte, but to tell you the truth, I've paired it with so many of my favorites that I'm growing a bit tired of it. I hope it doesn't suddenly take off in popularity and become the next Emily, Hannah or Emma.Lottie is probably my fave nick for Charlotte as well.Fave from your list: Charlotte Katharine. Mine: Charlotte Sophia

I adore Charlotte. Its only drawback is its popularity. I think it is so classy and feminine. My favourite nn for it is Lottie and I can't stand the nn Charlie for it.Charlotte Emily and Charlotte Vivian are lovely. My favourite Charlotte combo is Charlotte Alexandra. I think it sounds so regal

LOL, my grandma feels the same way!I once named one of my dolls Charlotte, and my grandma made a face and said it was a terrible name! she pronounced it horribly, like "shur-LUT". Oh Grandma.I still like it. I love Lottie :)

I feel the exact same way, All I see is Harlot! .

The word is Harlot. I don't really notice it there to be honest, and it's not really going to be a term a child would be familiar with.

I know it's harlot.Harlotte is like an ultra feminine harlot..I don't know why, this is just why I could never use the name. Ever.
It's okay on other kids though!

I like Charlotte. It is a nice old fashioned name that is sweet on a little girl but professional, sophisticated and romantic on an adult.
I would use Lottie as a nickname but Charlie can be cute on tomboyish girl.
I like these the best:
Charlotte Alison
Charlotte Elizabeth
Charlotte Jacqueline
Charlotte Katharine
Charlotte EmilyI also like Charlotte Caroline, Charlotte Savannah and Charlotte Mae.

I love it; it is classic and beautiful. I tend to prefer how it flows in the middle, though. It is the perfect filler usually. I like the NN Lottie in theory, but since statistically only a very small percentage of the population (in America) pronounces middle T's, I don't care for the sound.I love Charlotte Louise, Charlotte Amelia, and Charlotte Adelle.

my future daughter's name I love it

I used to think Charlotte was plain and "gray", but I'm starting to like it. It has a sweet quality that makes it very likable.Out of your combos, I like Charlotte Alison, Charlotte Elizabeth, Charlotte Vivian, Charlotte Katharine, and Charlotte Emily. Here are a few other MN suggestions:Charlotte Austen (I always thought this would be a cool combo for a Jane Austen fan).
Charlotte Noelle
Charlotte Sophia
Charlotte Annabel
Charlotte Olivia
Charlotte Penelope
Charlotte Joy
Charlotte Rachel

I certainly prefer Charlotte to Scarlett... It seems much more feminine, soft and classy.
I actually like Lotte (Lot-eh) to Lottie, but Lottie is ok.
Charlotte Vivian is my favorite of your name combinations. I love it!
Charlotte Elisabeth would be my second choice.

I like Charlotte. Lottie is cute, but I prefer Charly. I guess they're both good but they fit different personalities, so you'd have to see what nn works best for a person.
I like Charlotte Elizabeth. Charlotte Anne, Charlotte Anna, Charlotte Sarita, Charlotte Eva

I dislike Charlotte. I know many people who think it's lovely but I must be the exception. If I was going to use the name, I'd use Charlie as a nick name. From the combos you've listed, I like Charlotte Veronica and Charlotte Vanessa best.
