If you had to give your six kids Hebrew or Yiddish names
What would you name them? I grew up in a very Jewish area and I love their names though a lot of the time they seemed kind of unusable outside of their community (even though Channah has such a nice spark on Hannah, that Ch...). Anyway, you can do the six however you want, and if you want to add more that's cool too, I'm going to do 8. Reuven Ezra
Ayelet Channah
Moshe Immanuel
Shoshannah Miriam (Shana)
Ariel Gideon (Ari)
Shira Hadassah
Elior Gavriel
Michal Raisa (Mica) Shoshannah's name is so long, I might change that to Shoshana only I like that spelling so much more.

Ahh I love Ayelet Raise, Elisheva Sarit, and Reuben Amir. It's a nice sibset all around though. I don't know Itzhak, but I do know a young Yitzhak (I was totally serious when I said I live in a Jewish community), it's kind of one of the names that are hard to say at first but kind of fun once you get the hang of it.

Itzhak / Yitzhak IS fun to say, isn't it?

Buhhhh, how could I forget Smadar? :) So lovely.

I actually know a little girl named Rivka, the name is adorable and has such spunk to it.

Aww no Shoshie for Shoshannah? Love that nn, totally adorable.I'd consider (*ETA: Oh 6, * are the 6 I'd use)...
Abraham*
Eliezer*
Immanuel
Noam
Reuben*Drorit
Margalit*
Marnie
Miriam*
Sarah

VeredThere are lots of other names I like, but those are ones I like enough I would consider using.

Haha Shoshie is cute, sounds more like a family nickname than one she could use in day to day life though. I don't know why Reuben isn't more popular, I guess it is over in the UK but there was such a surge in biblical names over here, why did Reuben get left behind...

I love Miriam Shoshannah and Gavriel Shalom, I would totally use both of those in real life (though probably more likely with Mary and Gabriel)

Hadassah Liat just reminded me of my friend's little sister, Lital (Lee-tahl) which is a really lovely Jewish name. Kind of reminds me of Petal (though completely unrelated) yet has a better sound to it. I think Hadassah Lital would also be cute.Of yours I like:
Hadassah Liat
Ayelet Chaya
Aviva Shoshannah
Adara YemimaEzra Mordecai
Asa Micaiah
Judah Israel (love this)
Abel Solomon

Not sure if you know thisbut Fegele is Yiddish slang for a gay man.

Shiri is so cute, I have a friend Shira which is why I chose to use that name but I debated with Shiri. I've never heard Fegele but that's pretty neat.

All girls:
Yael, Ziva, Naomi, Dalia, Ayelet, and ElianaAll boys:
Gideon, Avram, Binyamin, Reuben, Israel, and Oren.Three of each:
Yael, Eliana, Ziva, Oren, Gideon, and Binyamin.EDITED: I took out Lior and replaced it with Gideon. I have loved Gideon for a long time and must have skipped right over it!Also, I misspelled Reuben as Rueben. Typing too fast! :)

Lior and Gideon are both good names. Great sibsets altogether =)

I almost couldn't decide, but Gideon was at the top of my list for quite a few years, and I'm still partial to it. Thank you. Of yours I really like Reuven Ezra. I typically don't care for Ezra but it is great in this combo.
I also like:
Shoshannah Miriam - I am in love with Miriam!
Ariel Gideon (Ari) - Like I said, I've liked Gideon forever.
Shira Hadassah - I adore Hadassah. :)

I really like Hebrew names, so this is fun.
Mordecai Lev Elior
Ari Akiva Shalom
Shai Ziv Keshet
Merav Shoshannah Raziela
Hadassah Keren Aviva
Paz Margalit Noa
this probably wouldn't work in real life, having Cai and Shai.

Haha I wanted a Avi and Ari but I figured that really wouldn't have worked out at all. Cai and Shai are much better than that. That said, I really like Ari Akiva Shalom. I feel bad for Hadassah though, only one middle name!

Oops! That was an accident; give me a moment and I'll definitely fix that.

I love Elisheva Michal. I want to trade one of my names for that, it's awesome.

I really like Liora Zahara, it's really fun to say and it looks pretty too. Gideon Saul is pretty neat too.

Thanks! Yeah, I love saying Liora Zahara. It's very musical. :)
