hateSorry, but I really, really, really hate this name. It's so ditzy and empty-headed and sunny and BLECH. Gotta be honest.

Well, I like it in theory. I just think that the meaning is funny "pleasant" because I've known many Naomi's and most of them have been literally crazy and the rest unpleasant in other ways, so I have a terrible impression of what a Naomi would be like. I have disliked every Naomi I've ever met. I guess that names do not create personalities, though, it just really seems like it, especially with Naomi.

I know a young girl(she's 14) named Naomi Parise.I like that very much.Sometimes the men turn up where, and when, you're not looking for them. :-)

I've come to like Naomi. The "ay" and "o" sounds right next to each other used to bug me. But I've come around to her sweet, country charms. Plus, I love the nn Mimi.I came up with the combo Claudia Naomi once and really liked it. Liked it until I realized I had put two 90s supermodels together. Not very original. :-/Naomi feels more natural to me as a mn. But I'll give it a go. How about:Naomi Sibyl
Naomi Clara
Naomi Lydia
Naomi Adele
Naomi Susannah
Naomi Kate / Katrina

Naomi Abigail
Naomi Kirsten

I hate when people pronounce it nay-o-me. I'm more familiar with nye-o-me, which I think is the Hebrew pronunciation. Another reason I wouldn't use it.
