Re: opinions on these girls names long list plz answer
-Love-
Arian(n)a
Aurora: It's feminine, but the nn Rory can make it more unisex.
Cordelia
Cressida: I wish it was more common here.
Delphine
Elena
Gemma: I've never met a Gemma; I could definitely see it working on any age. Gem or Gemmy would be adorable nns on a little girl.
Hazel: It's vintage-y, but modern at the same time.
Jemma: (see Gemma)
Nadia
Naomi: I like how international it is. There may be pronunciation differences, but it seems like it can be said everywhere.
Natalie
Natalia
Ophelia: Such a beautiful name, it's a shame that it has a negative association. I would love to see more little Ophelias running around, so the Shakespearean association isn't the first to come to mind. -Like-
Adrian(n)a: good nn potential and they are all pretty imo.
Anika
Alexandra: good nn potential.
Ariane
Diana: I like it, especially the pronunciation D-ana
Elizabeth: As a first name, I like the nickname potential and how classic it is. I'm not a big fan as a middle name since it was such a common middle name for girls when I was growing up.
Emily
Emma
Georgia
Jade: short and sweet
Juliet(te)
Leah
Maya
Mil(l)a
Rosalind
Samara: Very pretty, some cute nns too.
Tess: more of a nn to me, but I think it could stand alone
Tessa: short and spunky-Indifferent-
Alexa: It feels incomplete to me, even though Alexis doesn't. It could be because I've never met someone irl with Alexa as their full name.
Angelina: I think of Jolie, but there's a lot of good nns I can see from it.
Ariel(le): makes me think of The Little Mermaid
Bianca
Bryony
Camille
Caroline
Dominique
Emilia
Genevieve
Grace: I'm not a big fan of virtue names, but it would sound more fresh as a fn than as a middle.
Jasmine: makes me think of Aladdin
Danielle, Jennifer, Rachel, Rebecca, Sara(h): There were too many around when I was growing up, so the name has lost that spark for me.
Isabel(le), Isabella, Sophia, Lily: all are too common around me- and I'm not even really around that many children yet. Like the ones I grew up around, they just lost their spark to me.
Julia
Julian(n)a
Justine
Kate: common nn when I was growing up
Lara
Larissa
Lucinda
Miranda
Talia: I like it with Natalia, but not sure how I feel about it on its ownNMS
Alexia: I know this is a name, but I can only think of the brain disorder. People use Amelia though, so it shouldn't stop you if you love it.
Angelica: I think of Angelica Pickles of Rugrats, which is a neutral association. The name is too religious for me.
Beatrice: nms, it's too old for me. "Also, the Esurance commercial: don't live in Beatrice's world" makes the old association stick for me
Camilla
Charlotte: I'm not a fan.
Eugenie
Jacqueline
Joanna
Josephine
Nicola: I'm not a big fan. It makes me think of Ricola and Coca Cola.
