Re: French BAs

Clarisse... yay :)Chloé Illyana - Never been a huge fan of Chloe, but Illyana is pretty in sound, and cumbersome in spelling. Chloé Louise Anna - While elegant and pretty, this is a bit boring as well. Clarisse Alice - huge props for Clarisse, but I find the redundancy in sound a bit much here. Which is too bade, since both names are lovely alone. Manon Céline - Beautiful. Modern and Fresh, whild still being elegant. Agathe Margaux - This is wonderful. It fits my personal tastes... and piques my interest in the dusty but sophisticated. I truly love this combo. Roxane Martine - This is a strong pairing. It's very standard in that it uses recognizable names, but in an unexpectedly oomph-ish way.

Hermine Anne - Not a fan. The two names meld into one sound. It looks lovely, but sounds stunted. Krystal Venezia - Said is a French accent, it sounds lovely. However, I am not a fan of the use of k here. Crystal Venezia would be much softer. Luna Lisiane - This is a good example of how to use alliteration to elevate a name rather than detract. Though, I do wish the lovely Lisiane were first. Naïa Christine - How pretty! A great pairing of the fresh and the traditional. Splendid. Lucie Cécile Marion - I wish it were just Cécile Marion, but I can see why the trendy Lucie fits for a kid today. Morgane Anaïs - Oh, swoon. Can you tell I love French names? This does have a bit of a melding problem too, but since both names are stunning on their own, the compromise in sound is only slight. Célestine Anne-Sophie - Célestine I adore. Anne-Sophie not so much. I do appreciate double-barreled middle names though. Lilou - i tried to convince DH to use this name. To no avail. This is very modern and trendy though... not sure why I like it. Must be the cute-factor. Emeraude Cameron - Hmm. I like it. I especially like Emeraude, but I feel like Cameron was a matchy and safe choice for a middle. Its a solid name, but NMS. Melyah Khloé - Hmm, I wonder if this is a take on Melia. Must be. I prefer the original. This seems like an American-style using French names. A bit kitchy to me. Marcie Alexis - Simple, sweet and strong. Safe, but I like it. Soline - Solene is on my list. I prefer it. Anaelle Andrée - Another decent alliterative combo. Anaelle is a little Kre8tive for me, but the sound is pretty. (m)
Bastien Jacque - Lovely. Just lovely. Jacque is not one of my faves, but it works so well here. Lohgan Aimé - Not a fan of the Logan spelling, but Aimé is rather refreshing. César - Strong name... can't deny it. Edgard Edward - This sounds soooo old-school. You rarely see people doing this any more (using variations on the same name)... though it was quite popular in England at one point. I like Edgard a lot. But, Ed-names I will never love enough to feel t hat using them twice in one name is necessary or attractive. Warren Adil - This is a fresh combo. Not expected, but not over-the-top. I like it. Clovis Attila - Statement name! It's a bit much for me together, but I would advocate the use of either Clovis or Attila paired with something else. Clément Antoine - classy. Enzo Mika - Spunky. I like it. Lucas Youness - Hmm. like Eunice? Unice? The girl's name. I guess I can't justify this enough to even like it. Tayronn Rahim - Hmm... Not my style, but Rahim is quite handsome on it's own. Thiago Jésus - Spanish French. I like this name a lot. Thiago is so handsome. Jules Michaël - biased to Jul-names... but this is also quite handsome. Michaël grounds the rather romantic Jules. Melvin - Eh. Tom Marc - Simple and to the point. No frou-frou here. NMS, but I can see it's beauty. Noé Yusuf - I would prefer Noél Yusuf, but I do like this name. Noa a bit better too maybe. ______________________________________________
