Edith (I dislike it, but I dislike Ada much more), Elsa (definitely!), Alys (I like the other two a lot as well, but I love Alys the most because of a lot of good associations and because it's Welsh and i am learning Welsh), Elvira (love it), Olga (not crazy about it but I really dislike Dagmar), Eleonora (definitely!), Elisabeth (love it to pieces!), Helena (one of my all time favourites), jane (though Mary isn't bad either, both are nice classics that I like), Josephine (I like the sound much better but I have a very personal connection to Persephone so I do like it too), Lavinia (for some reason I like Julianna with two n's a lot, but dislike a lot Juliana with one n, maybe weird but it makes a lot of difference to me hahaha, and I'm quite neutral to Minerva, so Lavinia definitely wins here), Zenaide, Saskia (has been one of my most favourites for quite a couple years, Sylvia is lovely too but I prefer Sylvie), Vellamo (sounds lovely).
Alfons (I don't like any of these and am just choosing Alfons because it was my great grandfather's name), Nikolai, Konstantin (with C is also good, I really dislike Kasimir), Frederick (though not a fan of either), Gustav (Svante sounds odd to me for some reason even though I am familiar with it since many years as a Swedish language lover), Johannes (only because of nice associations, don't like the sound of either), Oskar (but Kaspar is cool too) and Tapio.

Edith - It's more substantial than Ada.
Aina - Since Elsa is just a short form of Elisabeth.
Alice - I'd have picked Alix but apparently it's pronounced a-LEEKS, which doesn't appeal to me. I don't like extraneous y's, so Alice it is.
Ursula - I actually really like the sea-witch association. Second place, Cosima. Elvira is pure campy "Mistress of the Dark" and doesn't have an appealing sound.
Olga - Just sounds entertainingly exotic in a 1920s sort of way.
Theodora - Eleanora seems like an unnecessary elaboration of Eleanor, and Isadora isn't as good as Isabella.
Ester - Science!
Helena - Ilona sounds like a backwoods name.
Mary - I think Mary is underrated, and Jane is pretty boring.
Persephone - It has a nicer sound and it's not just a female version of a male name.
Juliana - Although I'd prefer Julianne or Julianna, because the pronunciation of Juliana is always uncertain. Lavinia and Minerva are both tinny.
Salome - Mostly because I've always liked it and it has a romantic flavor. Also, it would be annoying to have a name with diacritical marks.
Sylvia - I don't like either one, but Saskia is very harsh.

Ada or Edith? - Edith. Cool, long history, MUCH less flabby.
Aina or Elsa? - Elsa, cos lions.
Alice or Alix or Alys? - Alice all the way. Alix looks like a spelling mistake and Alys looks over-elaborate.
Cosima or Elvira or Ursula? - Probably Ursula, but only as a mn.
Dagmar or Olga? - Dagmar! Olga sounds like a cough.
Eleonora or Isadora or Theodora? - Theodora, but only because Eleanor isn't an option. Isadora is awful.
Elisabeth or Ester? - Elisabeth. I prefer it with a z, but Ester is too medical.
Helena or Ilona? - Helena, so I could use Helen as a permanent nn. Dislike the lone in Ilona.
Jane or Mary? - Both! Equally nice, equally usable. I used Mary as a mn for my daughter, so OK, Mary.
Josephine or Persephone? - Josephine. Everyone can pronounce it.
Juliana or Lavinia or Minerva? - Lavinia is too lavatorial and Minerva is (a) over-ambitious and (b) would degenerate into Minnie. So, Juliana, though the only Juli- name I like is Juliet!

Ada or Edith? - I have both of these on my list. In real life I think I'd plan on Edith but when she was born I'd go with Ada.
Aina or Elsa? - I think I like Aina more.
Alice or Alix or Alys? - only Alys.
Cosima or Elvira or Ursula? - Ursula, it seems the most approachable. Cosima is so cold. Elvira is nice though.
Dagmar or Olga? - If I heard them in the original accents, I'm sure I'd prefer Dagmar. If I am saying them myself in my own accent, definitely Olga.
Eleonora or Isadora or Theodora? - Theodora is nice. Eleonora is stuffed with an extra syllable, and Isadora is sadly misspelled. I'd rather Isidora than Theodora, though.
Elisabeth or Ester? - Elisabeth.
Helena or Ilona? - Helena
Jane or Mary? - Mary, though I like both.
Josephine or Persephone? - neither please.
Juliana or Lavinia or Minerva? - Juliana sounds nicest by far.

Ada or Edith? Edith. Ada sounds too close to the super popular Ava.
Aina or Elsa? Aina because no Frozen association.
Alice or Alix or Alys? Alice feels most classy.
Cosima or Elvira or Ursula? Cosima is currently very high on my list.
Dagmar or Olga? I like the sound of Dagmar better.
Eleonora or Isadora or Theodora? Theodora
Elisabeth or Ester? Ester
Helena or Ilona? Helena
Jane or Mary? Mary is more versatile.
Josephine or Persephone? Persephone is more interesting.
Juliana or Lavinia or Minerva? Minerva. It sounds stronger, less trendy and is a name of a goddess of wisdom.
Salome or Zénaïde? Zenaide. Salome sounds too much like salami to me.
Saskia or Sylvia? I love both. Sylvia if I had to.
Vanamo or Vellamo? Vellamo

Ada or Edith: if you'd have asked me just a week ago, my answer would definitely be Edith, and it might be again in a week. The name Ada has been growing on me recently.
Aina or Elsa: Aina feels insubstantial.
Alice or Alix or Alys: Alice is lovely and classic, while Alix sounds too modern, and Alys looks like a typo.
Cosima or Elvira or Ursula: it sounds the best out of these three to me, but I don't really like any of them.
Dagmar or Olga: I find Olga extremely ugly and rough sounding.
Eleonora or Isadora or Theodora: sounds beautiful and lively, and I love the Isadora Duncan association.
Elisabeth or Ester: Elisabeth is a wonderful, classic name, that offers a myriad of nicknames. I prefer Esther to Ester.
Helena or Ilona: Helena is one of my very favourite names, and Ilona is an "old lady name" where I live.
Jane or Mary: I love both, but Jane is wonderful, and slightly more unusual. It's very versatile - I can imagine it on a baby and an elderly woman, a blue-collar worker and an aristocrat.
