I think of Phoebe from friends which isn’t a bad association and aside from that I have known two Phoebe’s. It’s a cutesy name that works in my opinion. I could even imagine it on an old lady. Phoebe Anastasia The sibsets I already knew were Phoebe and Clara and Phoebe and Catherine. I think these work well but I would choose Phoebe and Eliza. I would choose Lilia from your favourites.

LOVE the name Phoebe, it’s one of my faves. DH loves it too. We both think of the character from “Friends” and for us, that’s not a bad thing because we love the show and think the character is hilarious! I also love that it’s Biblical and the meaning is great. One of my fave Phoebe combos is Phoebe Sky, but I also love Phoebe Shay, Phoebe Ruth, Phoebe Matisse, Phoebe Esme, Phoebe Adah, Phoebe Jane, Phoebe Shoshana and so on and so on. I think Phoebe and Holly would be adorable for sisters. I LOVE the name Lilia, but prefer it whole, not shortened to Lily. I think Phoebe Lilia and Holly May would be so sweet.

It’s one of my least favourite girls names. I really dislike the sound, it’s far too close to the word feeble.

I kinda like it, though I can’t really get the Friends association out of my head. Oddly enough, I picture a Phoebe as more of a brunette than a blonde.I think it fits well with an old-fashioned French name:Phoebe Odette
Phoebe Louise
Phoebe SuzetteI would probably go with Phoebe from your list.

I know of a 17-year-old Phoebe here in South Africa; she is very attractive, very bright and a talented artist, so my associations are positive. Her full names are, I think, Phoebe Lyra Kate, Lyra being a Philip Pullman reference and Kate a recently deceased relative. Apart from that, the impression the name itself gives is not so good: too close to 'feeble'.Phoebe has a cousin Milo (which shocked me to the core: I'd always imagined that the chocolate drink would serve to put South Africans off the name, but clearly not). I'm not that keen on any of your faves, but I'll go for Phoebe and May. The others really do not appeal.

I should love Phoebe because it's Ancient Greek, but I've never liked it. It's too nasal and flimsy.I'd probably opt for something like Phoebe Gertrude, Phoebe Agatha, or Phoebe Constance. Phoebe needs to be grounded and enriched.Sister: Helena
Brother: LinusI'd choose Lilia and May.

I really love the name Phoebe, because it's mythological , related to the moon, small and simple. It gives me the image of a blonde and generous woman, but I think that this name could work on a red or brown-haired person.
I would pair it like this:
Phoebe Veronica
Phoebe Athena
Phoebe Maddalena/Magdalena
Phoebe Caterina
Phoebe Agatha
(also inverted)
My potential sibsets:
Phoebe and Luna
Phoebe and Lucrezia
Phoebe and LaetitiaPhoebe and Elouan
Phoebe and Helios
Phoebe and Finley
(check the meanings of these names and you will understand why I chose them to form a sibset ;-))Among your favourite names, I would choose the little, natural, flowery and pure Lily and the precious and brief May.

I don't like it and it makes me think of a mentally feeble person because it sounds close to the word "feeble". It's so silly sounding that I can't believe it has fans. The two I'd choose are Eilidh and May.

It's such a dippy, flaky, airhead name. Phoebe on Friends was perfectly named. As was Monica.

Phoebe is flimsy and ditzy. It doesn't help that the only Phoebe I know of is the one from Friends.I would pick Holly and May. I do really like Lily as a middle name.Phoebe Diana
Phoebe Melissa
Phoebe Isla
Phoebe Imogen
Phoebe Charlotte
Phoebe Mara
Phoebe Jasmine
Phoebe Adriana
Phoebe Justine
Phoebe Erica
Phoebe Alice
Phoebe Judith
Phoebe Angelina
Phoebe Rhiannon

I like the name Phoebe a lot. I think of a tiny, chubby, sweet little bird. Phoebe, Lily and Holly are all very nice. May is okay, but I prefer it as a nickname. Lily is my daughter’s middle name, but we avoided using it as a first name because of the popularity.
