My mom is Terri. Not short for anything (teachers often called her Theresa), and she says her name was misspelled all the time growing up (usually as Terry, but occasionally as Teri), so she has never really liked it. Though, apparently, Sheila was also considered, and of the two she's glad her parents chose Terri. :-P
Edit: if we're doing middle names, she's Terri Lynne.

My mom’s name is also Terri but hers is short for Theresa. She always gets things addressed to “Terry”.
My mom was Amy Drew.
That's so pretty!
Tove.
Bertha :)
She was born to Pennsylvania Dutch parents for context. I really like her name, sometimes I think I wouldn’t have minded being named after her but I probably wouldn’t have liked it when I was younger haha.
And I adore the name Polly btw!

I love Bertha!
Isabel. Growing up, I so rarely encountered anybody with this name, it was almost a celebration if we found it. Now in the last decade, they've been popping up like daisies and suddenly kid shows are featuring characters with some variant of this name.
Isabel is such a beautiful name.
Zhanna :)

Both names are so pretty!
It really is. I loved to see Polly chart. I think it's overdue for a comeback, even if slightly.
My mom's name is also Lori! :)
Emma!
When she was born in 1952 and when she was growing up, my mom thought Emma was such a weird name and she never encountered anyone with it. Nowadays she meets little ones named Emma everywhere she goes!
Mom's first and middle named are Emma Jean, and that's what my grandma called her - lots of people thought she was Imogene when she was little.
Once a waitress asked if Emma was short for Emerald, because the waitress had a niece named Emerald that they called Emma - my mom told her that no one would have been named Emerald in 1952. (It was honestly kind of rude the way my mom said it, but I kind of thought she had a point lol.)

Eustolia "Toya"
My mother's name is Lorraine. Some call her Lori, some call her Rainey. Her middle name is Leanne.
Magdalena is beautiful!
