Four years after adopting Kenneth, the Tarnstrom family is expanding again. This time, Aaron and Cassie are adopting a 3-child sibling set from Iran. Because the children are older, the Tarnstrom's have just decided to give them middle names, and keep using their given first names. They would like names that are quite common and flow well with the children's Iranian first names.

They need names, as well. Sydney (who is getting a female dog) would like her dog's name to end in an "ee" sound (like Cutie, Pixie, or Shelly). Avery (who is getting a male dog) wants his dog's name to be tough and mean sounding.

Milan and Beth have just welcomed their first child, a daughter. Milan would like to honor his family by using a Russian name, but Beth does not like the idea. She would like her children to have common, everyday names. In order to compromise, Milan has decided to use a variant of one of his father's names for his daughter's middle name. Beth wants her daughter's first name to come in any top 10 popularity list.
