Nan is working as a professional designer in Paris with her husband Frank and her two young daughters. However despite this hectic lifestyle she reguarly returns home as she misses her native England.
Harry did become an Engineer and married Elsie and had four children. Though he moved up north to work in Liverpool. Meanwhile James returned for University and then left to continue working as a Doctor in Africa with many local and national charities.
Charlie and his daughter Georgia both shy by nature. He has devoted himself to work after the death of his wife Megan.
Valentine and her husband Andrew have done very well for themselves. He works for the stock market whilst she works as a succesful humourous crime novelist. They live in the outskirts of London.
Maria is happily married with one son "Little Alex" and her daughter affectionally known as bump though probably will be named Flora after Jack's grandmother.
Isabelle became a real part of the family and felt like another child. It was a teary moment when Isabelle the baby of the family got married. Isabelle is a easygoing genuinely nice person. Like her mother she is a primary school teacher and loves it.
Alex retired from working in hospitals to become a lecturer and teacher part time at the University of Cambridge. Elisabeth gave up working with classes and now tutors children who are struggling or have special needs after gaining plenty of experience from Nan.
