Theodosia
Sometimes, usually during the summer, I am enamored with Theodosia. It reminds me of wildflowers. Sometimes it even eclipses Theodora for me. What is your opinion? Have you any combos for it?

I like it and I far prefer it to Theodora. It's the "DOR" part of Theodora that puts me off it, and Theodosia solves that problem. It's pretty, and due to the fact that Aaron Burr's much-loved and tragically short-lived daughter bore the name Theodosia, it has a seventeenth\eighteenth century flavor to me.

Not a fan. It reminds me of the Molly Ringwald movie "For Keeps", where she plays a teenage mother and her husband convinces her to name their daughter Theodosia after his great-aunt and she hates it, thus, not liking her baby that much. And I think they called her Thea, which for some reason makes me think of a really fat person.

not a fan... could see her winding up w/ nn dozey from kids at school. Theodora is already a might GPish imo and Theodosia moreso.

My neighbor across the street is Dozey (or maybe Dozie). :D

Dozey adorable? Calling someone sleepy has never struck me as a complement.

dittoDozey / Dosie is not an appealing nn at all. I'm not a big fan of either Theodosia or Theodora, though as a GP I adore the nn Teddy on a girl.

I really like the name Theodosia. It is so rich and yet so fair. It's like a lemon cake with thick cream-cheese icing or a heavy, ornate wrought-iron fence painted white. I love the silly and gentle pet name "Dozy" or "Dosie" for it.Some combos:Theodosia June (in honour of the summer feeling)
Theodosia Iris

I prefer Theodora, but Theodosia is also a favorite. It's very romantic.
