*David *Walter - my favorite of your boy combos. Can't go wrong with two classic family names. Gerard *Castle - sounds like an actual place!Madison *Ross - much as I want to reclaim male names...this one would be gutsy Dexter Ivan - Dexter is more of a pet name in my book, I like the combo though. *Henry *Ross - sounds so historical/presidential Thomas *Castle - I like it for the same reasons I like Elisabeth Story below...classic name paired with interesting word name. Loren *Ross - Fits right in with all the (US) names given 3 generations ago. I think Loren has more going for it than some other male names pilfered by girls. It ends in NBailey *Arthur - would prefer Arthur Bailey...but Bailey is definitely still in the "reclaimable zone" Klaas *Allen - don't see any reason to use this form of the name unless you have very strong Dutch heritage, in which case it'd be very cool. Alice Lorraine - I like both names; together they remind me of Alsace Lorraine Vivian Estella - very 20sElisabeth Story - I like the flow of this; the long, classic Elisabeth set off by a simple, evocative word name. Nova Carys - both pretty names, but as a combo there's too much novelty going on IMO.

BOYS
David Walter - David is nice, although a bit too common for my tastes. It ages well which is nice. Walter is handsome.Gerard Castle - Gerard is okay but I can't personally imagine it on a small child. Castle is too surnamey for me.

Madison Ross - I don't think Madison is girly, but it's not particularly masculine either. It's ok. I like Ross, though, and Madison Ross does flow nicely.Dexter Ivan - Dexter is a GP of mine. Ivan is not my style, but it's nice enough.Ceallach Olaf (KELL-akh) - Ceallach looks clumsy and I think people would have a lot of trouble spelling or pronouncing it. Olaf seems kind of oafish to me!Henry Ross - Love it!Thomas Castle - I'm still not that keen on Castle, but Thomas Castle sounds better than Gerard Castle.Loren Ross - Loren seems feminine to me.Bailey Arthur - Bailey is a bit boring to me, as it's become pretty popular. Also, I dislike it's unisex nature. I adore Arthur.Klaas Allen - The double A in Klaas looks odd, and Allen is a bit boring to me.Henry Ross is my favourite from your list. If I was to pick and choose from your names, I would make the combo Dexter Arthur or Thomas Arthur

I don't like David, but I can't object to David Walter. It's just kind of strong and confident looking. Solid.
I hate Madison, but kudos in using it as boy's name. I can't say I agree with Madison on -anyone-, but not being brow-beaten by popular opinion takes some willpower.
Ceallach Olaf is interesting but so harsh to my ears.
Henry Ross is nice. I've got a bit of a fondness for Henry at the mo. It's not interesting or sparkly or unusual, but it's solid and enduring and a nice, sensible, classic name.
Loren Ross. I've always thought of Lauren as feminine, but there's something winsome about seeing Loren as a boy's name.Vivian - I dislike 'stel' names (Estella, Stella, Estelle etc), but Vivian is very cool.
Dahlia Jean - awesome.
Theodora Millicent - love.

I do prefer Madison on a boy, but I don't think it goes very well with Ross - too similar to Madison Rose which is probably quite a common combo for girls. I have the same opinion with Loren, it's very handsome on a boy, but not with Ross.Otherwise I like David Walter, Gerard Castle, Henry Ross, Thomas Castle and Klaas Allen, and I also like Arthur but not with Bailey. From your girls list I like Eleanor Nystrom, and individually I like Alice, Vivian (prefer Vivien), Elisabeth and Ariadne, and Carys, Amabel, Jean, Anastasia, Theodora and Julia are ok.

Some thoughts:David Walter - very handsome
Thomas Castle - dittoVivian Estella - beautiful
Eleanor Nystrom - I'm guessing Nystrom is a Scandinavian family surname (Nyström/Nystrøm)? It looks odd to me as a Swede, as Nyström would never be used as anything but a surname here. I like Eleanor though.
Elisabeth Story - nice, I prefer Elisabeth to Elizabeth
Nova Carys - nice
Dahlia Jean - great combo
Ariadne Anastasia - they're a little too much together

David Walter - Very handsome. I love Walter, it's very charming and quirky.
Gerard Castle - I love the flow of this even if I don't like either name. Gerard is such an old man name, and Gerry is ugly. I've known several Gerard's of all ages none of whom liked their names, they all went by nicknames unrelated to it.
Madison Ross - I don't think Madison is at all girly, it means "son of Maude" It's got Son right there in it! I also know a 20 something male Madison which helps. I do think it's possibly too far gone for the present time, maybe in 10 years. It'd make a handsome middle name however.
Dexter Ivan - Love Ivan. Dexter is a dog name.
Ceallach Olaf - Bless you.
Henry Ross - Handsome.
Thomas Castle - Handsome.
Loren Ross - I absolutely adore Loren, but I'd probably pair it with something with a harder sound.
Bailey Arthur - I really dislike Bailey. Arthur is gorgeous.
Klaas Allen - I don't really like Klaas, it looks weird to my English eyes and it's not all that attractive a sound. I have a soft spot for Allen. GIRLS
Alice Lorraine - I don't particularly like Lorraine, but I give it a pass for being a family name.

I think I've commented on some of your boys names before. It doesn't matter if you claim Madison is a boys name, the rest of the would does not so if you ever used that name, you have to realise that both you and your son would spend your entire lives saying 'but it's a BOYS name.' I loved Robin for a boy, but girls have stolen it. I won't use it, I've gotten over it.Loren is also girly. I'm liking Ross as a mn and I like Bailey Arthur, but once again, be aware of how unisex it is.
*Alice *Lorraine- Alice is pretty, Lorraine is not
Vivian *Estella- Vivian Stella would be great. I have an aversion to Estelle
Eleanor *Nystrom- Nystrom is weird. But I like Eleanor.
Elisabeth Story- Story is weird, but not as bad as Nystrom, this is okay
Nova Carys- meh. I like Nova..
Amabel *Gertrude- Amabel will be forever correcting from Annabel. And Gertrude is hideous
Dahlia *Jean- pretty!
Ariadne Anastasia- can we just use Anastasia instead. I like both names but it's too much together
Theodora Millicent- Theodora is pretty but grand and Millicent pushes it over the edle. How about Theodora Jean?
Julia *Lorraine- ew with the Lorraine again. Julia is a gorgeous classic though

David Walter - I think David is fairly boring but Walter, well Walter is growing on me a little. I think Walt is cute.
Gerard Castle - very grand and I don't mean that in a good way.
Madison Ross - I think Madison is too tied to girls to be used for boys now, and throwing the wimpy Ross (Gellar) in there just makes it worse.
Dexter Ivan - AHHH Dexter Morgan and Ivan the terrible. Violent name.
Ceallach Olaf - very oafish.
Henry Ross - Henry's lovely.
Thomas Castle - love Thomas.
Loren Ross - wimpy
Bailey Arthur - I absolutely despise Bailey but I love Arthur.
Klaas Allen - I prefer Klaus but either way Allen's mundanity seems out of place. GIRLS
Alice Lorraine - don't care for either name.
Vivian Estella - fairly cool for not my child.
Eleanor Nystrom - love Eleanor but Nystrom makes me think of nits and storms. Nitstorms.
Elisabeth Story - Elisabeth is wonderful. Story is... well it kind of works with Elisabeth.

You've got some very nice names on your list... my favorites are:David Walter - love both of these names
Ross is nice and underused - is it a surname or first name in your family?
Allen - classic and underused, nice nameAlice Lorraine is pretty
Vivian Estella is probably my favorite on your list; Estelle is a family name for me too (DH's grandma mn)
Nova Carys is nice - I like both names and how they fit together
Elisabeth Story - I like this spelling of Elisabeth; any special meaning to Story? As far as word names go, I've never heard it used before but I like it
Julia and Anastasia are both pretty
