Anna or Hannah?
Which is your preference? Also, add your preferred middle name with your choice.Sparrow

Neither. Anna is the most popular names among women my age where I live and it bores me to death. Hannah is super common among my generation but especially the one afterwards. The sound of both names is okay but not great. I much prefer Annabel. If forced to choose I would choose Hannah. I have too many friends, colleagues etc. called Anna. I know Hannahs too but none of them are close friends.

I'd go for Anne, in fact I have used it as a mn for my daughter, as it has been for me and for my paternal grandmother.Hannah is very drab and needlessly elongated. Anna has a bit more sparkle, but I really prefer Anne.Anne Felicity
Anne Penelope
Anne Vanessa

NeitherThey both bore me to tears, but if I had to choose, I'd eliminate Hannah, which is far whinier than Anna.I'd probably opt for Anna Crescentia.

Anna GuinevereYes, the sounds are similar, but Hannah is far more "overdone" in my experience. Neither are bad names, but both need a "spicier" middle name so the choice isn't completely boring.

Hannah MayI just hate the English pronunciation of Anna - well, any pronunciation that doesn't double the "n".

Anna Sophia...of course. Such a perfect pair!
