[Opinions] Anna
I am really falling in love with the name Anna for a girl! I think it's so beautiful and simple. A couple questions:1. Do you think it goes well with the other names on my list?
My list:
Madelyn Blythe
Jude ?? (either Brighton, Michael, or William)
Irene Charlotte
Gideon ??2. The only mn's I can come up with that I like are Anna Elisabeth and Anna Louise. Can you think of anything else that would sound cute with Anna?
Thank you! :)

I know quite a few girls named Anna Elizabeth. I think it's pretty but pretty boring and un-original.

Yes, Anna goes with any of your names. It's my youngest dd's name and while it wasn't my first choice, it has grown on me. It suits my little one and the nns are plentiful and come easily. I've always called my children different forms of their names. With Anna, I began with Annabella, then Bella, then Annie, Anya, Anouk, Annushka and Annika. My dh's and my two current favorites are Annie and Annika. Annika, in particular, was a surprise because it has come so easily. It's almost effortless now and I can see why it's a pet form of Anna. BTW, she now calls me Mamaka in response which I love. ;-)Combos:Anna Alicia
Anna Bethany
Anna Carolina / Anna Caroline (my dd's name)
Anna Caterina / Anna Catherine / Anna Catriona
Anna Charlotte
Anna Christina / Anna Christine
Anna Francesca
Anna Gabriella / Anna Gabrielle
Anna Gwendolen

A truly stellar list. But Anna Leontine jumped off the screen at me. Wow. Gorgeous. Why didn't I think of that?

My name is Ann. I was named after my mother Anna (who goes by Nancy) and growing up I wished that I had that extra "-a" on the end. For years Anna was my #1 name for a girl, it's simplicity and elegance held it apart from other names. The fact that it is a palindrome didn't hurt either. And when I entered my romantic teen years and read Anna Karenina I was really hooked. My favorite combinations include:Anna Caroline (#1)
Anna Lily
Anna Charlotte
Anna Sophie
Anna Laurel
Anna Gisele / Giselle
Anna Lenore
Anna Celeste
Anna Mairead
Anna Catherine / Cathleen
Anna Gwendolen
Anna JessamineCould any of these work for you? Sorry for any repeats.

Anna is beautiful and simple. Anna Cordelia? Anna Beatrix?Madelyn irks me. Please spell it without the trendy-ness. Blythe is nms.Jude sounds like rude to me. Jude William is decent sounding.Irene sounds old to me, but Charlotte is a favorite of mine.I love Gideon!
