Isis was only recently formed, which all of you were alive before Isis. A lot of young preteen girls have this name because of its originally great meaning. Of course you don’t use it anymore, I wouldn’t either, but just to point out that it isn’t a name that shouldn’t ever have been used and that people with this name are the devil.
What is with all this hate? This is one of the most handsome names ever! It’s very strong, masculine, and really, really attractive. Of course you can name your kid Ivan.
Why not something else? This bores me to death! You can be a Johanna (with an H sound) or something which is also a feminine form of John. Like, come on!
I love this FEMININE NAME soo much! It ages well it’s so nice and pretty. Not a load of people have this name, you should totally name your kid this, because for sure I am. Oh, it also reminds me of Kalani Hilliker, she’s a great dancer.

It sounds okay but it’s pretty childish. Also, it really ticks me off how you guys are all about Sophie being popular and don’t mention a thing about Kaylee. Kaylee is more popular than Sophie (#97, Sophie is #98.)
Honestly, this name isn’t a name I would pick. It doesn’t sound that bad though, it’s just that the association with King makes it pretentious and surnamey. It’s not a horrible name, I’m in the minority.
Please do not use this name. This is now (forever) linked to Kobe Bryant and your child can be made fun of. It’s hard to hear but Kobe Bryant has done awful things and he has committed awful crimes, please don’t name your kid Kobe.

Am I the only person who remembers the girl called Lettice on America’s Got Talent way back? I think it sounds nice, to be honest. But for obvious reasons I’m not giving this name.
Loki is already a marvel super villain but I guess it could be a diminutive of Luke. Besides that I would not use it. Also rhymes with “low key” if nobody noticed ;) but it’s not a bad name.

I only know black girls with this name. They are all really nice but the definition of black/dark doesn’t make sense. For example I wouldn’t call my kid white.
Don’t take offense if this is your name because I will be sharing my personal opinion.I dislike both names, however, if I have to pick between Marvin and Mervin I would pick Marvin. Mervin seems annoying to pronounce and a little strange too.
