Brandon vs. Tyler
Which one, and why? What would you choose as a middle name for the name you choose? What would you name a brother and a sister? **Starfish and coffee, maple syrup and jam/Butterscotch clouds, a tangerine, and a side order of ham**

I think Brandon has more substance. Brandon FergusHis siblings would be Lachlan and Maeve.

That’s hard; Tyler is so cute! I choose Brandon, although I prefer Brendan. I honestly just think it has nicer combos to choose from. Mine are Brandon Rhys or Brandon Nicholas. Brandon, Nicholas and Jaime for siblings...Other sibs:Alexander
Samuel

AndreaEdit: Just realized all my names are very ‘90s LOL

Brandon. Even though I think it's a dadname now.Pretty sure that the first Tyler I met was a dog. And the next one I met was a snotnosed brat. And I've never known an adult man Tyler. So it's just this prejudice I have, that Tyler is doggie and bratty. I've known a couple of respectable Brandons. I don't like many T names and I don't like Br names generally, but Brandon sounds masculine without being too butch to me (benefits from being similar to Brendan, and smacking vaguely of Marlon Brando).Brandon Thomas, maybe? Brandon Albert?Sibs for a character named Brandon: Alyssa and Eric
Sibs of a real baby I am forced to name Brandon today: Julian and Mara

Tyler. I used to like it and it might still be on my PNL oops. It’s okay though, just sounds a little made up. Brandon is way too harsh-sounding and I can only imagine it in an American accent (which wouldn’t be so bad if I actually was American). I prefer the softer irish Brendan.Tyler Hugo (I feel like I’m being a bit mean to Hugo here)Tyler, Dexter, Blythe (girl)

I like these questions. You’re getting into the nitty gritty. LOLI like Tyler better. Brandon is uglier. Tyler has a little bit of a sk8er image for me because of a boy at my school.Tyler pairs badly with most interesting names. I think Tyler Joseph is just about the best combo I can get. Maybe some other surname? Tyler Kincaid? I like it.
I’d name a brother Alexander/Xan and a sister Elizabeth/Liz.

Tyler Kincaid is awesome.

I’d go with Brandon since I think Tyler is too lastnamey.I’d go with Brandon Paul or Brandon Robert since it makes it s bit more classic, IMO.
Siblings: Anna and John

This is cruel, Billina. These are two of the worst names to exist ever period the end. I guess Tyler. Ugh. Tyler Henry. Sister Caitlin, brother Hudson. That was painful.

Easily Tyler, because Brandon is one of my least favorite names ever. I can't say why better than I did in my comment on it:It tries way too hard to be oh-so-ruggedly handsome and masculine. It just hits you over the head with it. "Hello, my name is Brandon. I'm just riding into town on my prancing and pawing stallion from a long day of rounding up the dogies. I have rugged chiseled features, a few days' growth of beard, a cigarette rakishly hanging out of my mouth, a body hardened by hours in the saddle, and my cowboy hat dangling over my eyes in an intriguing fashion. Just gonna swing myself down from the saddle now. Stand back, ladies! My name is Brandon!"So.....Tyler Quentin. And Victoria and William.

Brandon. Yes, it's dated to the early 2000's but I feel like it has more substance than Tyler. Tyler is just a nothing name to me, as if the parents couldn't agree on a name and so just "went with" Tyler.Brandon Ezekiel.I knew a Stephanie with brothers Joshua and Brandon. That'll do.
