Your Favorite Guilty Pleasures (GPs)
"Top Names" lists on these boards are nothing new, but I think most of us approach those topics with the top names that we would actually use.
This isn't about those names. This is about the names that you love, but would never use in real life - maybe for a pet, or a character (if you're a writer), but absolutely not for a real person. This is for the crazy ones!
Mine (the ones I've never actually considered for people):
Alkaid
Antares
Aramis
Athos
Beowulf
Cain
D'Artagnan (yes, I'm a The Three Musketeers fan)
Elessar
Esmond
Faramir
Gaheris
Hawthorn
Herod (too bad the most famous bearer was so terrible)
Hughard (I actually prefer this to Hugh)
Imlac
Navarre
Nicanor
Osiris
Poseidon
Prentice
Théoden
Theon
Yorick
Yvain
Zaurak
Zephyr
&
Alsephina
Amaryllida
Antigone
Arcangela
Aristea
Brengaria
Charlize
Circe
Clytemnestra (this one has been a GP since high school, no joke)
Damaris
Domino
Eos
Éowyn
Eurydice (probably the only Eu- name I like)
Greenlee
Honesty
India
Isis
Jacquetta (I actually prefer this to Jacqueline)
Jewel
Jezebel
Lysithea
Maeleth
Medusa
Minelauva
Olympias (too bad the most famous bearer was so terrible)
Patience
Renfri
Rigantona (another GP since high school)
Star
Sylvestra
Tace
Tempest
Tiamat
Tissaia
Titania (tie-TAY-nee-ə pronunciation)
Yennefer
Ygraine
I really delved into astronomy and fantasy works (particularly Tolkien) for this list.

I used to like Cassander, years ago, but fell out of love with it.
A lot of the names on your list are Spanish. I didn't include the names on my PNL from outside my culture (I have a whole separate list just for them), but there are so many Spanish gems, truly. I also like Amparo, Andrés, Belén, Briseida, Eneida, Esperanza (if I were Hispanic I would actually name my daughter this), Fernanda, Isidro, Javier, Lourdes, Nayeli, Nereida, Nizhoni, Pilar, Queralt, Quetzalli, Reina, Rio, Rosenda, Tercero, and Zyanya.

I once met a little boy named Storm. Though given that it was almost 10 years ago, he's not a little boy anymore... but anyway, he was the exact opposite of what his name implied, very kind and respectful, and rather quiet. In a way, I think that's actually the only way a name like Storm can work in the real world. But I do like it.
I'd never use most of the names I like, so my PNL is pretty much "GP's" by that definition.
From yours I like these (* = would use as a MN, * = would use as a FN. Both are more like "I could be convinced", except in the case of Hawthorn which I have on my IRL list. So like if I had a baby and my SO suggested one of the starred names I'd consider it.)

Thank you for reminding me of Blodwen's existence. It's a very underappreciated Welsh name.
- Brunhild and Brunhilde are kind of cute to me, but I worry that some people might have a Nazi-association :(
- I sort of like Annalisa, Mary Rose, Mary Jane, Maryellen, Annemarie and Anneliese. They are way too bland and kind of boring for me to consider using them, but I do think they are sort of nice.
- Lily Rose and Lily Rosalind. Way too flowery but I do love these combos in theory.
- Ella. I find it terribly bland and boring and overused and empty but I love "Ella Enchanted" so I can't hate it.
- Hayley (this spelling only). I think it's really fun to say even though it is dated and boring.
- Maia, Kaia, Gaia and Laia. I like the sounds of all of them but there are just too many similar names around so I doubt I will use them.
- There are some boring and dated names that I think are fun to say but I would not use them: Stephanie (this is so fun to say for some reason), Jennifer, Kay, Kayleigh.
- I sort of like Carol and Shirley.
- I love saying Persephone but I can't see myself using it.

Though not normally into "combination names," I do like Anneliese and Annamarie (similar to your Annemarie).
Ella is nice, but very popular. I actually prefer Elle.

Mine (I highly doubt I'd use any of these for a real-life child):
Aramis
Pythagoras
Cadmus
Orpheus
Hezekiah
Oberon
Puck
Thorin
Agamemnon
Porthos
Athos
Enoch
Ganymede
Daedalus
Icarus
Yorick
Lysander
Nicodemus
Junius
Wenceslas
Menelaus
Mnemosyne
Galilee
Forsythia
Fuchsia
Antigone
Ismene
Cassiopeia
Daenerys
Hippolyta
Clytemnestra
Eurydice
Jerusha

Oberon! I forgot about Oberon - and I definitely prefer the Shakespeare spelling to Auberon. I also like Nicodemus, and have gone back and forth on Wenceslas mostly because of the carol. (We are in agreement on a lot of names.)
I used to really like Ismene but fell out of love with it. And thank you for spelling Fuchsia correctly! :-) (Too often I see Fuschia.)

I like Bellatrix, too, though I understand the association with the character is just too strong. (Rowling really knew how to name them. Bellatrix, Narcissa, Alecto, Sirius, Neville...)
I was surprised to see Gabrielle on a GP list - unless you have the same aversion to the nickname Gabby / Gabi as I do?

Amaryllida is so pretty!
These are my latest GP's (there's far too many to list ALL my GP's):
Prix (for a girl)
Peregrina
Zibellina, Zibeline
Sancy (for a boy)
Jones (for a girl)
Jersey (for a girl)
Cora Sun-Drop
Urraca
Biddy or Biddie
Ethelbert
Pyrrha (for the main reason that I have no idea how to say it - I love the way it looks though)
Musée
Arachne
Lysistrata
Emerald
Barbara

I would smile if I met a real life Lysistrata!
I don't get why Barbara is really a GP, I think it's still usable, honestly. Then again, I live near a large Eastern European community (mainly Polish) and encounter young Barbaras through them, because they still use the name.

Oh Barbara is a GP for me because it's a name universally hated by my family. It has a sort of forbidden air to it.
Charisma is a really good one! That, Persephone, and Phoenix I've all actually considered for a girl.
Scout is cute, though I've always thought of it more as a nickname than a legal one (which makes sense - Scout's real name in To Kill A Mockingbird is Jean Louise). Reverie is also interesting.
I'm curious as to why you would consider Irena a GP, though? It's hardly out-there.

I know Irena isn't out there, I just can't see myself ever using it.
