[Opinions] WDYT of Esther?
Esther - It's been starting to grow on me, but really doesn't fit in with a lot of the other names that I favour. Any ideas for sibling names?Check Out Blinkyou.com for thousands of custom glitters and layouts

I fell in love with the name when I was introduced to a 3 year old Esther. So cute, and it's great to see names revived. I'm more interested in how a name works with the surname than sibling names. That said, here are some siblings for Esther: Susannah
Persis
Natalie
Abigail
Judith
Hadassah
Mayim
Mariah
Miriam / Mariam / Maryam
Miranda
Lily
Marisa (mar-EE-sa)
Jonah

I know what you mean about working with the last name! Esther would sound pretty snazzy with my last name, but less so with my boyfriends - his ends with "-der" so its almost got the rhyme-y thing going on, you know?I'm also not too keen to get matching sibsets, per se, but I just like the harmony of siblings with names who share a similar kind of...origin, I suppose :-) Gosh, I don't even know what I mean, I sound like a cult leader or something! That being said, I really like Natalie, Abigail, Mariah, Miranda, Lily and Marisa for girls, and Daniel, Thaddeus and Theodore for boys. Esther, Lily and Thaddeus sound great together!Check Out Blinkyou.com for thousands of custom glitters and layouts
