Names you hated earlier that you love now (or vice versa)
I used to think Liv was a horrible name, now it's one of my favorites.
I thought Christine sounded like an old washer woman or something until I saw POTO and started to love it.
I thought Sofia sounded like a real brat, now I think it's a sweet name (but way too common!).
I thought Alma sounded like a 100 year old woman, today I love it.
I thought Sixten was a name fit for an old grandpa, now I think it's super cute (my cat is called Zixten).
I absolutely abhorred the names Ester and Edith, today I don't think they are that awful.
I couldn't stand Marie until I read a manga with such a sweet character called Marie, so now I think it's not so bad.I loved Linda, today I think it's boring.
I loved Cecilia and I still like it, but I associate it with a person I didn't like.Does the sea exist

I used to hate Hazel on girls and ladies younger than 70, but now I think it's a sweet name, and I even used it for one of my characters!
I used to hate Adelaide, but now I kinda like it. It's still a GP, though.
I used to think Sophie sounded too saccharine sweet, but now that I've seen it in name games, I've warmed up to it.
I used to find Harmony too cheesy, but now I love it.
I used to dislike Julie, but then I made an Internet friend with this name (not on here, somewhere else).I used to like Nancy, but then I had a bad association and hate it now.
I used to like Felicia, but now I prefer Felicity.
I used to love Francine, but then it started reminding me of the character off of that kids' show, Arthur. I'd rather not have that kinda association. lol
I loved the name Erica up until I had a fourth-grade classmate named Erica, and she was such a brat! I think I'm starting to like it again, though.

Eleanor, Matilda and Victoria were all names that I never used to like that I've started to really appreciate lately.

I used to love Sophia, now i think it's super bland.
Skyler and Cicely used to be two of my favorites. Now they seem kind of childish.I used to associate Thalia with a cantankerous old woman i knew, now i think it would be very cute for a little girl.

I used to dislike:Maude
Mabel
Hazel
PearlNow I like them. When I was young, these were the old lady names, and few people liked them. So I was under that influence. Now enough time has gone by for me to shake off the prejudice.

I remember hating/disliking/not loving:Ruth- I thought it just sounded so ugly and also that only old people were called this but recently met a very kind and lovley Ruth
Fabienne- Thought it was too frilly but now I think it's kind of cool
Layne- I thought it was very long and slow to say sort of gluey if you kinda get what I mean but now Laine is one of my favourites!!
Mary- Only ever knew old people with this name and never realised you can give it to anyone, I'm starting to like it more and more
Nancy- This name truly reminded me of both a place called Chauncy Vale (idk why) and the 1950's but then I did a research project at school and realised its kind of a cool name
Edith- I agree with you there I used to hate this name but after reading a book on ww2 with edith as a character I think its pretty alright
