Love it love it love it. It's one of the most elegant names I can think of. If the "tit" in the middle is a problem you can spell it Leticia. Laetitia is another wonderful spelling.

It seems double-dated. The spelling alone makes it feel Victorian or thereabouts, and the pronunciation and the variant spellings are very sixties-seventies Afro-American.

Also, not fond of the tit in the middle, which is more than just a combo of letters, as in the Swallows and Amazons series (I think) a character named Letitia was called Titty.

It's a pretty name, but not my taste.

It's unusual enough to be interesting, it has a great meaning, and I like the look of it - but it sounds like a sneeze.

I had an elderly relative, now deceased, whose names were Letitia Muriel. She greatly disliked Letitia and always went by Muriel, so her opinion has influenced mine.

She did once work for a boss who called her Tish. Which is actually worse than Letty.

Just lovely. But I do prefer it spelt Laetitia. Can't explain why, but for a name that means happiness, that spelling somehow looks happier :)

I only like it spelled Laetitia. Letitia, Letizia etc. are all acceptable but not as charming and gorgeous as Laetitia. Overall this name seems a bit dated. I think it is at least slightly dated in France and Italy. I know a very nice French girl named this and I really like Laetitia!
