What is your fav version of a "classic" (f) name?
Recently, I am loving classic names...but with a twist. For example, I like the name Elizabeth but I LOVE:
Lisbet
Liisi
Elisaveta
Eliza
Also, I like Ann but I LOVE:
Annika
Hanna
Hannele
Anaïs
What about you? When you think of a "classic" female name do you have a variation that you love?

I like Eliza more than Elizabeth as well, but if I was going to use it, I'd probably use it as NN for Elizabeth anyway.
Not entirely sure what is considered a classic, but I like:
Janet, Sinead, and Johanna more than Jane, Jean, Joan, Joanna...
Mathilde, Matild, Maude, and Maud more than Matilda
Miriam and Mariah more than Mary and Maria
Amabel / Amabelle / Mabel more than Anabel / Annabel / Annabelle
Beatrix and Beatriz more than Beatrice
Magdalene more than Madeline or Madeleine
Rivka and Rifka more than Rebecca
Margot, Marjorie, Madge, and Greta more than Margaret
Kate, Katya, Katrine, Carina, Catriona, and Katrell more than Katherine / Catharine
Sisel more than Cecilia, Cecily, or Celia
The one that's sticking out most to me right now of those is Janet. I like that it seems retro and punchy in a way that Jane does not.
