Helen or Helene?
Do you like either of them? My professor said "Colleen" quickly the other day, and I misheard her, until I realized no one named Helene is in our class. It got me thinking.WDYT of Helene? I liked it when it was said, but the more I thought about it, the more I think I like Helen for it's softer sound. I dislike Helena, though. Thoughts or mn suggestions for Helen?:)

I think Helene is pretty, but like Helena, there are just so many different pronounciations. Instinctively, I say Helene as heh-LEEN (and Helena as heh-LAY-nah). I like them both much more than Helen, btw, but I have a not-so-nice aunt by this name, so that doesn't help. :b

I like both, but the teasing potential when she's little throws me off a bit (what I mean by that is HEL-en sounds like h**l).
