Sexy/Alluring Names + One Question
What are some names (Of either gender or maybe unisex) you find interestingly “sexy”, alluring, or seductive? If you don’t have any names in mind... What are qualities that makes a name, in your opinion, alluring? I’ve been seeing this a lot lately for some reason so I just wanted to ask the question here. I noticed people call names like Nevaeh, Destiny, Bambi, or even generally tame ones like Amber, Tiffany, Crystal stripper? What the hell is stripper-y about this to people? What even makes a name stripper-like?_______________________________________________________

I think Nicholas and several of its variants are alluring. I've only ever known one stripper. Her real name was April. I don't know if she used a stage name. There are certainly names out there that have gotten a bad rap for one reason or another. Diamond seems like "stripper" name to me because I knew of a strip club called Diamonds. I think that's how most unpleasant associations get started. Crystal actually makes me think of two things, a restaurant called Kystal's and this girl who was strung out on drugs that a neighbor used date. Just my rambling thoughts.

Tbf I have actually known a couple strippers named Amber before, though I don't see it as purely stripper in nature

I've always thought Veronica is particularly attractive, it makes me think of a sharp, alluring woman. As far as stripper names go, we've already had this discussion multiple times and frankly I'm surprised that it surprises you. Connotations and stereotyping exists.

Well I wouldn't find these names anything far from provocative but I picture handsome/ gorgeous people with these names:Ryan (There were a lot of guys named Ryan I had crushes on)SebastianStefanDominicPaulHeatherAs for stripper names, I do agree, any name can be associated by strippers as tame as Mary or as exotic as Jade. I don't even know why gem names, virtue names, etc are used by strippers. However, people do use names like Giselle or Cherry because they are close to naughty female slang, unfortunately.

Well, in American culture a name which has had a long history of being used for sexually seductive characters and so has an overly "sexy" image to many people is Lola. This began with the Irish-born dancer whose stage name was Lola Montez in the 19th century and has been continually reinforced for years by the use of the name in plays, films, and songs for seductive or sexually forward characters.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lola_Montez
