[Opinions] WDYT of Eva???

I'd like opinions on the name Eva.

We still haven't decided on a nmae for our baby girl due in 3 weeks!!!

We have a ds named Alexander and a dd named Anna. I'd like a name that is pretty international, dh and I come from different cultural backgrounds and live in a place where we speak French and English.

Anyway, I though of Eva pronounced eh-vah.
Middle name may be Katherine , not sure yet..

Any suggestions are welcome

I like the name Eva, though I prefer it pronounced "ee vuh". Overall, though, I must admit that despite its popularity, I much prefer the name Ava...one of my faves! :-)

Eva Katherine is a lovely combination (Kathryn is my preferred spelling, though).

Eva Katherine is gorgeous and complements Alexander and Anna (a great sibset, imo). I also like:

Eva Margaret
Eva Madeleine

I don't know why, but I really like mns beginning with M to pair with Eva.

I think Eva is pretty, but I think Eve is somehow more interesting and sophisticated. It has a stronger ring to it than Eva, I think. But Eva Katherine is a beautiful combo. Other middle names I like with it might be:

A lot of the names suggested I really like.

My dh likes Sara but I find it's a little too popular. I originally liked Maya but don't think it fits in with my other dc's names.

Other names I like are Isabella, but maybe it is a bit much with Anna and Alexander...

My mom is pushing for Katerina (was my grandmother's name) but dh does not like. I thought of Katya as a possibility...

Love the name Julia but cannot use it , as the case with Zoe and Olivia is dd's middle name...

Basically I am really stuck!!! Our problem is that dh and I don't agree on very much when it comes to names. Anna was a total compromise name for us although I did grow to love it...
